Bakrid means not just sacrifice

Bakrid does not only mean the sacrifice of the animal, but its religious meaning is very deep. This festival is associated with dedication, sacrifice and charity to Allah. Actually, the part of the sacrifice on Bakrid is divided into three parts. The first part is donated to the poor and the needy. People divide the second part among their friends and relatives.
