The Supreme Court on Tuesday (September 16) gave a big verdict regarding the Maharashtra local body elections. Orders have been ordered to complete the election process by 31 January 2026. On the other hand, political parties have also started preparations. Mahayuti in Maharashtra will unite and contest elections, while the decision of Mahavikas Aghadi has not been decided yet. However, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation should remain in its possession, with this thinking, the combination of Thackeray brothers is also in discussion.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in clear terms that this time the saffron of Mahayuti will be waved on the Mumbai Municipal Corporation and the Mayor will also be of Mahayuti. Also, Devendra Fadnavis has directly challenged the Shiv Sena Thackeray faction. The special thing is that on this occasion, CM Fadnavis also sang a song dedicated to Uddhav Thackeray, remembering a political context.

In view of the upcoming elections, BJP’s victorious resolution was held in Mumbai. During this, Fadnavis said – “Mumbai BJP President Amit Satham has attacked like a BrahMos missile, now no one can stop us. We had missed a little in the last general elections, only two corporators were less. We know what we should do if there is a shortage.” He indicated that BJP has already started making strategies for the post of Mayor.

Devendra Fadnavis reminded that the last time Uddhav Thackeray wished that the mayor should be his. Then we did not delay at all, called everyone and said that the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Standing Committee Chairman take all of you, we will not work as the opposition but if you make a mistake then we will keep curb.

He further said, “… But the election of 2019 came and then I had to sing -” Good Sila Diya Tune Mere Pyaar Ka, Yaar looted the house of man. ” Through this song, CM Fadnavis alleged that Uddhav Thackeray did not appreciate ‘Upkar’.

‘You are not a brand’ – Devendra Fadnavis
CM Fadnavis said- “We are going to fight, not those who are crying. In 2022, we showed Ganimi Kava and brought an absolute majority government in 2024. Whether anyone comes together or not, the flag of Mahayuti will be waved in Mumbai and the mayor will also be of Mahayuti.”

He further said – “There was an election of ordinary best, then why did you fight in the name of the party? So we say – our brand is. Our Shashank Rao and Prasad Lad Darekar showed. Hey, Shiv Senapramukh Bala Saheb Thackeray is a brand, you are not a brand.” In this way, CM Fadnavis once again attacked the Thackeray faction.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled the statue of former CM Vasantrao Naik in Nanded, Maharashtra on Monday (May 26, 2025). During this, he fiercely targeted the Shiv Sena of Uddhav faction for questioning the all -party delegation sent abroad after Operation Sindoor.

PM Modi had said that Pakistani will find terrorists and kill them. The work of mixing Pakistani terrorists into the soil was done. The vermilion of our daughters’ forehead is not cheap, whatever harm will have to be answered with blood.

He further said that PM Modi has clarified that blood and water will not flow together, but do not know what has happened to Uddhav Thackeray’s party, if today Bala Saheb, he would have embraced PM Modi for Operation Sindoor. The Home Minister said that Pakistan has forgotten that now there is a government of Narendra Modi for 11 years.

Amit Shah said that if he attacked Uri, we responded to the surgical strike. He attacked Pulwama, we responded to the air strike. Then he attacked in Pahalgam, then we replied from Operation Sindoor and destroyed his terrorist bases.

He further said that Operation Sindoor has given a message to the whole world that no Indian Army and our people should be disturbed, otherwise they have to face serious consequences. Not a single missile of Pakistan touched our earth, while our air defense was abolished by our army. PM Modi has made it clear that if someone attacks us, then the bullet will be answered from the shell.
