Lal Salaam has finally said his last salute in Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday (December 11) night in Balaghat district, two notorious Naxalites Deepak and Rohit surrendered before the security forces at the CRPF camp in Korka. There was a total reward of Rs 43 lakh on both of them. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, through video conferencing, described this surrender as a big achievement for the state and said that now Madhya Pradesh is becoming free from Naxal terrorism.

Heavy reward on Naxalites, surrender after continuous pressure

A reward of Rs 29 lakh was declared on Naxalite Deepak, resident of Palagondi, and Rs 14 lakh was declared on Rohit. Both were active for Naxal organizations for a long time and remained a big challenge for the security forces. Due to continuous coercive action by CRPF and District Police, both of them decided to give up their weapons and return to normal life.

Lay down arms after reaching CRPF camp

Deepak and Rohit, who reached the CRPF camp in Korka, formally handed over their weapons and expressed their desire to give up violence. According to officials, after surrender they will be given the benefits of rehabilitation schemes. IG Balaghat Sanjay Kumar Singh called it a strategic success of the security agencies and said that this operation is a big message for the future.

Chief Minister congratulated, new roadmap for development and peace

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while congratulating the officers and soldiers through VC, said that Balaghat is now free from Naxal activities. He said that Naxalism had hampered the development of this area for years, but now the government is committed to establish permanent peace and progress here by carrying out rapid development work. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that with coordinated efforts Naxalism will never raise its head again.

Under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a major success has been achieved in the direction of eliminating Naxalism. On Sunday, 10 Naxalites surrendered before CM Mohan Yadav in Balaghat, including 4 women Naxalites. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav connected him to the mainstream by providing him a copy of the Constitution. The surrendered Naxalites handed over their weapons to the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that as per the target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the government is committed to making Madhya Pradesh Naxal free. He said that not a single person is allowed to take up arms. The Chief Minister called upon the Naxalites to adopt the rehabilitation policy of the government. The government will make every possible effort to secure their lives, ensure development and connect them with the mainstream of society.

882 Post have been done Accepted

While encouraging the officers and soldiers, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the anti-Naxal campaign is being continuously strengthened and strengthened. 15 new temporary camps and 882 posts of special support squad have been approved in the state. Due to continuous monitoring, intensive investigation and actions, the Naxalite scope in the state has reduced rapidly. He said that last year 46 single facility centers were opened in Naxal affected areas for rehabilitation. Employment, forest rights certificate and other essential services are being provided through these centres.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while paying tribute to the bravery of Martyr Ashish Sharma, said that out-of-turn promotions have been given to police officers including 328 Hawk Force who have worked with excellence in the line of duty. He said that the government is concerned about the rehabilitation of those who follow the path of law.

DGP Kailash Makwana said that the anti-Naxal campaign has been strengthened under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. New camps have been established, Hawk Force and police force have been increased. Besides, officers and soldiers are being given continuous encouragement. These actions have yielded positive results. Naxal dedication is continuously increasing in other states including Madhya Pradesh.

He said that through employment and skill development efforts, significant progress has been made in connecting the youth and citizens of Naxal-affected areas with the mainstream. Madhya Pradesh Police is committed to liberate Naxalites within the stipulated time frame. Transport and School Education and Balaghat in-charge Minister Uday Pratap Singh, senior officers and jawans of the police department were present in the program.
