The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has once again started attacks in Pakistan. The organization attacked several districts of Balochistan late on Tuesday (July 08, 2025), targeting several government houses and military bases.

According to the ANI report, the responsibility of this attack has been taken by the separatist organization BLF, which was called the operation new dawn. With this attack, the organization has resumed its year -old fight against Pakistan. According to reports, a total of 17 attacks were carried out in different parts of Pakistan Panjgur, Surab, Katch and Kharan. Due to this, Pakistan suffered a lot of economic losses.

In a statement, BLF member Major Gwahram Baloch described the attack as ‘a new dawn in the Baloch National Liberation War’ and said that the campaign extended from Makran coast to the Koh-e-Suleman mountains, which shows the way to the organization moves forward. Now this revenge has entered a new form. He said that the purpose of the new dawn is to show that Baloch fighters are adept at making a campaign successful on a large scale.

Major Gwahram Baloch said, ‘The attack for the attack was made carefully, so that the people of the security forces and their areas could be damaged. However, there is yet to be a large number of damage. All information will be given on completion of the operation.

Security forces search for forces search

The scale and accuracy of these attacks in Balochistan indicates promoting extremism in Pakistan’s southwest province, where complaints related to exploitation of resources and military appearance have long promoted the sentiments of separatist organizations. After this attack, security forces started a search operation at some locations from Wednesday morning, while communication services remained closed in some parts of Ketch and Panjgur.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hafeez Baloch said that the attack took place in Gwadar district of the province when armed men stopped and shot a passenger bus going from Gwadar to Karachi near Kalamat area on Oramara highway late Wednesday. He said that five passengers died on the spot, while another later died in the hospital on Thursday.

He said, “Armed people killed six passengers after seeing the identity cards of the passengers and took three others with them.” He said that all the victims were from Punjab province. Currently no group has taken responsibility for the attack.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif gave instructions to investigate
The militants also stopped three trucks carrying manure from the Gwadar port by blocking the road and set fire to them. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the attack on the passenger bus and directed the concerned officials to prosecute the responsible people. President Asif Ali Zardari said, “Terrorists are enemies of the development of the country and the prosperity of Balochistan. They cannot see progress in Balochistan.”

Balochistan CM Bugti condemns the incident
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the incident, saying, “It is a heinous and cowardly act to remove innocent travelers from a bus and kill him on an identity.” Another incident took place in the Sohbat area of ​​Nasirabad division of the province, where armed men attacked a house and killed seven people of the same family, including a woman and three children. Police said these cruel killings were the result of land dispute between two groups.
