Mushfiquur Rahim and Shanto Hundred: Two Test matches are to be played between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The first match has started today on Tuesday, June 17. On the very first day, Mushfiqur Rahim and Najmul Hussain Shantio took over the deteriorating innings of Bangladesh and both Bangladeshi players scored centuries.

Bangladesh’s poor start

Bangladesh won the toss in this mat and decided to bat first. The Bangladeshi team seemed to be proven to be wrong when, while three wickets of the team fell. Bangladesh’s opening batsman Shadman Islam returned to the pavilion without scoring 14 runs in 53 balls and Anamul Haq without opening an account. At the same time, Mominul Haq, who came to bat at number three, was dismissed for 29 runs in 33 balls.

Mushfiqur and Shanto hit a century

After the end of the first day’s play, Shantio is batting for 136 runs in 260 balls and Mushfiqur is batting for 105 runs in 186 balls. Thanks to a 247 -run partnership between these two players, Bangladesh’s score has reached 292 runs at the loss of three wickets on the first day.

Sri Lanka got 3 success

On the first day, the Sri Lanka team got a better start by Tharindu Rathnayake and Asitha Fernando, but the rest of the bowlers did not take a single wicket. Thrindu Rathnayake took 2 wickets on the first day of Mache, while Asitha Fernando got a success.
