Jagdeep Dhankhar has resigned as Vice President of India on Monday (July 21, 2025), on which Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has now made a statement. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) that the country has the highest number of Telugu speaking people after Hindi. The Vice President of India should be from Telangana.

CM Revanth Reddy said, ‘I do not know why Dhankhar ji resigned. This is unfortunate, but the Vice President of India should be from Telangana. The last time there was a discussion that Venkaiah Naidu would be made President, but injustice was done and he was sent back from Delhi. A Telugu -speaking person was sent back to his house. Therefore, to fix this, Bandaru Dattatreya was given the charge of the Governor of Haryana. When he was a Union Minister, his post G. Kishan was handed over to Reddy.

NDA accused of doing injustice to OBC

Reddy said, ‘The captive Sanjay Telangana was the president of the BJP, but now a Brahmin, Ramchander Rao has been given this responsibility. Thus, in the south, especially in Telangana, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) cut the throat of all OBCs.

Bandaru Dattatreya should be made the Vice President of the country- Revant Reddy

He said, ‘After Hindi in the country, the most Telugu speaking people are. Injustice has been done to our people, I am demanding the NDA government. The captive Sanjay, Dattatreya cut everyone’s throat, so if Bandaru Dattatreya is made Vice President, then your crime will be forgiven.

Jagdeep Dhankhar resigns by citing health reasons

It is noteworthy that former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar announced his resignation from the post of Vice President on Monday (July 21, 2025). He sent his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu, citing health reasons and said that he was leaving the post with immediate effect.
