Mohammad Yunus, the head of the interim government, has expressed deep gratitude to the foreign medical teams who arrived for treatment after the painful aircraft accident in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka last week. He thanked the doctors and nurses from India, China and Singapore and said that these medical teams have served the injured with condolences and dedication.

In the accident on Monday (July 21, 2025), a China-made F-7 BGI trainer fighter jet flew a few minutes after flying and collided with the Milestone School and College building in Dhaka. 32 people died in this horrific collision, including 26 innocent children.

Teams from all three countries active on the spot

Soon after the incident, teams of specialist doctors from India, Singapore and China were sent to Dhaka. Of these, India’s medical team reached on Wednesday, which played an active role in the treatment of the injured. Before the arrival of this party, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had expressed deep condolences to the accident and offered to provide all possible help to Bangladesh.

Honor ceremony held in State Guest House

On Sunday, Younus met medical delegations of the three countries at Dhaka’s State Guest House ‘Jamuna’. During this, he shared pictures with doctors by posting a post on social media platform X (East Twitter) and appreciated his contribution.

Yunus said, “The presence of these teams is not only technical help, but it is a symbol of our shared humanity and global cooperation. These partnerships can become the basis of permanent cooperation in future emergency health conditions.” He also suggested that medical education, research and virtual health networking should be further enhanced between Bangladesh and partner countries.

A training aircraft of the Air Force in Dhaka, Bangladesh, crashed after flying on Monday (21 July 2025) on the afternoon after the Milestone School and College Building. 20 people died and 171 others were injured in the accident. There was chaos after this accident. After the accident, Main, a 19 -year -old student studying at Milestone College, narrated the incident. He told that we ran down from our class on the 7th floor and joined the rescue work. We saw some children coming out of school badly. We helped people a lot. However, during rescue work, Main also fainted and was hospitalized.

Soon after the incident, the process of delivering the injured to Uttara modern hospital started. Dr. Mohammad Bajalur Rahman, Deputy Director of the hospital, said that the arrival of the injured started at 1:50 pm, most of whom were students between 12 and 16 years of age. He told, & ldquo; Children had serious traces of burning on their face and body. We immediately started giving first aid before sending them to the burn unit.
