Bangladesh’s International Crime Tribunal has fixed July 10 on Monday (July 07, 2025) to decide on July 10 as to whether the allegations will be framed against the deputed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her two top colleagues.

Hasina, former Home Minister Asadujman Khan Kamal and former Inspector General of Police Chaudhary Abdullah al-Mamoon are accused in the case of alleged crimes against humanity during the rebellion in July last year.

 Decision will be taken against 10 July

& lsquo; Daily Star & Rsquo; According to the newspaper report, the International Crime Tribunal-1 (ICT-1) will decide on 10 July whether the charges against Hasina, Kamal and Al-Mamoon will be framed. The three -member tribunal will hear the petitions filed on behalf of the defense lawyers on July 10, who have argued that the allegations against their clients are baseless and they should be removed.

<ptyle ="Text-Align: justify;"> Hasina, Kamal and Al-Mamoon were charged in five cases of crime against humanity on June 1. The prosecution has made formal allegations against the outstanding Prime Minister, former Home Minister and former top police officer in other cases including murder, attempt to murder, torture and fatal weapons.

 6 months jail sentence

On Wednesday last week, Hasina was sentenced to 6 months in jail in his absence in a case of contempt of court on behalf of ICT. This is the first time that the 77 -year -old Awami League leader has been sentenced in any case since leaving the post in August last year.

According to the report of the United Nations Human Rights Office, 1,400 people were killed between July 15 and August 15 last year, as the government of Hasina ordered the protesters to take action on the security forces.

 Many officers were arrested

Most of the Awami League leaders and ministers and many officials of the previous government were arrested or absconding in the country and abroad. The interim government last year launched a case against him for cruel actions to suppress the rebellion, due to which on August 5, the Awami League government of about 16 years was demolished and Hasina was forced to go to India.

A news portal (Bedinuse 24.com) said on Sunday (July 06, 2025) that a court in Dhaka has asked Hasina, his family members and many former officials of his administration to appear in six cases of alleged corruption related to the allocation of plot.

 The court issued a gazette notice

Anti -Corruption Commission (ACC) prosecutor Mir Ahmed Ali Salam said that the court had earlier directed the publication of the Gazette notice, which has now been issued. The gazette is signed by Senior Special Judge Mohammad Zakir Hussain Ghalib, Dhaka Metropolitan.

 This date will be heard on

Anti -Corruption Commission (ACC) prosecutor Mir Ahmed Ali Salam said, & lsquo; The court has fixed July 20 for hearing in these six cases. If the accused do not appear in the court till then, then in their absence the case will proceed. & Rsquo;

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"Apart from Hasina, the gazette includes her children Jeev Vajed Joy and Cyma Vajed Putul, her sister Sheikh Rehana and Rehana's children British MP Tulip Rizwana Siddiq, Ajmeena Siddi Siddik and Radwan Mujib Siddiq."Text-Align: justify;"> Read also:- Increased demand for weapons of India after Operation Sindoor, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made a big disclosure on the budget
