There is big news from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi Adityanath government has taken major action against Bareilly City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri, who had submitted his resignation on Republic Day expressing his displeasure. Alankar Agnihotri has been suspended.

Alankar Agnihotri has been suspended in the resignation case. Now Divisional Commissioner Bareilly will investigate this. Alankar Agnihotri will remain attached to DM office Shamli during the entire investigation.

Alankar Agnihotri vacates government residence

Alankar Agnihotri has made serious allegations against the Bareilly district administration. He has claimed to be harassed by the administration. Meanwhile, Alankar Agnihotri vacated the government house. Alankar Agnihotri says that he was called by the DM for talks.

Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda spoke to Alankar Agnihotri

After being suspended, Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati called and talked to Alankar Agnihotri. He said that whatever happened to you is wrong. You will be given a higher position in the religious field than the position you held in the job. Shankaracharya said that he is sad that Alankar Agnihotri must have studied with so much dedication that he could have reached this position. Now you lost your post in one stroke, but on the other hand, the way he has demonstrated his deep devotion towards Sanatan Dharma, the entire Sanatani society congratulates him.

Alankar Agnihotri was angry with UGC and Shankaracharya issue

It is noteworthy that Bareilly Municipal Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri had resigned from service on Monday, January 26, expressing his displeasure over the government policies, especially the new rules of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the case related to Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda.

Alankar Agnihotri had described the new rules of the University Grants Commission (UGC) as ‘black laws’ and alleged that these rules are polluting the academic environment of the college and should be immediately withdrawn. Under these new rules brought to prevent caste-based discrimination in colleges and universities, institutions have been asked to set up special committees, helplines and monitoring teams so that the complaints of students, especially those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, can be resolved.

Leaders’ claims, indication of administrative pressure

Alankar Agnihotri, a 2019 batch officer of the Provincial Administrative Service (PCS), sent his resignation through email to the Governor and Bareilly District Magistrate Avinash Singh. The leaders reacted to this development and said that this resignation is a sign of administrative pressure. Bareilly Mayor Dr. Umesh Gautam reached Agnihotri’s residence in the evening.

In his resignation letter, Alankar Agnihotri said that when governments adopt policies that divide the society and the nation, it becomes necessary to ‘awaken’ them. Agnihotri, a resident of Kanpur city, has previously worked as SDM in several districts including Unnao, Balrampur and Lucknow and is known in administrative circles for his clear views and strict working style.

In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has come under attack from the opposition in the case of City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri in Bareilly and Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand in Prayagaj. Dr. ST Hasan, former Samajwadi Party MP from Moradabad, said, “Brahmins are also being subjected to atrocities within the state. There are four great Shankaracharyas in our country, and everyone respects them. It is the responsibility of all of us to respect the spiritual and religious person of any religion.”

Dr Hasan further said, “We too are saddened and everyone is pained to see the way Shankaracharya ji’s followers, who had gone to take a bath in Prayagraj, were pulled by their hair and beaten. Such religious people should not have been treated like this.”

After minorities, now oppression on Brahmins

Regarding the intention of the government, the SP MP said, “We also know the condition of the minorities, we are silent and pray to Allah that the situation should change. But it is a matter of regret that Brahmins are the largest caste among the Hindus. The same discrimination and treatment is being done to them. In such a situation, where is India going? First you converted Hindus to Muslims, now you have fallen into casteism. Now they are troubling the Brahmins too. Whereas everyone respects the Brahmins.” Are.”

Demand for suspension of misbehaving officers

Dr. S.T. Hasan demanded action against the police-administrative officers who assaulted in Prayagraj and said, “Why have the officers who misbehaved with the followers of Shankaracharya ji not been suspended yet? Why has no action been taken against them? Our government is silent on this. Is it a conspiracy by the BJP? It is a matter to think.”

Ban on non-Hindus in religious places wrong

On the demand of ban on non-Hindus from visiting Badrinath and other religious places in Uttarakhand, Dr. Hasan said, “Our Constitution gives equal rights to all the citizens of the country, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian. We can come anywhere, no one can stop us. But if any particular person insults any religious place, then he should be punished for that and not you should create a communal atmosphere that no Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain or Christian will come here. The Constitution of India does not say this. Today we have to think about how to save our Constitution, then there will be chaos in the country and the country will be on the verge of civil war.

Concern expressed over resignation of City Magistrate

On the resignation of the City Magistrate in Bareilly, the SP MP said, “This is a very serious matter. The government should change its attitude, respect the respectable people and deal with the nefarious and criminals as per its own.”
