Cardiologist Dr Dmitry Yaranov has described the bathroom as a potentially dangerous place, as there can be a risk of fainting or even death while using the toilet. While talking about this on Instagram on September 8, Dr. Yaranov said that there is a silent danger hidden in your bathroom. They called it the most dangerous room in your house. What are the dangers associated with the bathroom?

“You think[the most dangerous room in the house]is the kitchen, where the knives are, or the garage, where the tools are kept. But for some people, it’s the bathroom,” the cardiologist said. He further said, “Have you ever felt dizzy or lightheaded in the bathroom? You are not alone.” According to Yaranov, pushing during constipation can trigger the ‘Valsalva maneuver’, in which a person pushes while holding his breath. This process increases pressure in the chest, reduces blood flow to the heart, lowers blood pressure and ultimately deprives the brain of oxygen.

Higher risk for already sick people

Dr. Yaranov said, “Every year, thousands of people become unconscious or die while sitting on the toilet. This is the reason for this. Pushing during constipation triggers the Valsalva maneuver. You stop breathing and push. Due to this, chest pressure suddenly increases, blood flow to the heart slows down, blood pressure falls and oxygen is not able to reach the brain.” He said that it is more dangerous for people who have heart disease, arrhythmia, or who are taking high dose medicines for heart failure.

Are there any prevention methods?

Talking about prevention, he said, “Fix the cause: Get fiber, drink water, be active daily, and use stool softeners if needed. Don’t ignore chronic constipation. It’s not just uncomfortable, it can be dangerous.” These are the only preventive measures. Which you cannot ignore even by mistake.

At around 8 am on Wednesday morning, 600 women recruits started committing uproar at the PAC campus in Bichhiya, Gorakhpur. During this time, women recruiters who have come to training from different districts of the state have made many serious allegations as well as question about chaos.

At the same time, many recruits started crying and shouting about this matter, many women narrated their problems outside the gate. The video can be seen clearly crying and pleading in the video.

Accused of having cameras in the bathroom
Women’s recruits, who came to take training, have raised questions making many serious allegations. He has accused the bathroom (in the open verandah with a place of bathing in the open verandah). Also, the poor system has been highlighted in the campus.

Seeing the case catching up, police training school trainer and police officers reached the PAC campus on the information of the uproar. After which the women tried to convince the recruits and took them inside. However, no official statement has been revealed in this case yet.

What did recruits say?
A female recruits have raised questions through the video and said that when there was no system here, then why was it called. Making many serious allegations, he said that there is neither water nor electricity for drinking. He has demanded that we want the training center back.

Talking further, we told that we are taking a bath in the open, men are coming around. Another woman told that the bathroom is not built here and said that the incharge here uses abusive language.

IG PAC Central Zone Dr. Preetinder Singh of Lucknow said that the matter of the camera was installed in the bathroom. The allegation was found to be completely untrue and factless in the investigation. The matter of indecency through a PTI has come to the notice. Which has been suspended. It is a priority for UP police to do the training of women constables safe and high. Along with this, action will be taken on those who spread rumors on disciplinaryness and social media.

Akhilesh also raised questions
SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav also reacted on this matter. Sharing the clipping of the news on the social media site X, the Kannauj MP wrote that the unfortunate news of the Gorakhpur training center of women police recruits is coming. There is no electricity, no water, nor dignified bathing. When this is the condition of the main city, then what to say about the remaining. Nari Vandana is the Jumla of BJP.

On the other hand, taking the matter seriously, IG PAC Central Zone Dr. Pritinder Singh of Lucknow said that some problems were put up by the recruit women constables in the 26th Corps PAC. He was taken under cognizance by senior officers. It was immediately investigated. It was found that the power supply was disrupted due to some technical reasons. Due to this water supply has also been affected. The problem has been settled by the officials on the spot. The power supply has been corrected by negotiating with the Electricity Department.
