Sunny Deol’s much awaited film ‘Bantwara 1947’ is ready for release. The film is releasing on 14th August. Apart from Sunny Deol, this film has stars like Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, Shabana Azmi. This is one of the big films of 2026. Since the release of the teaser of the film, fans have been excited about the film. Fans also want to know how the film will fare at the box office.

Gadar 2-Border 2 had a great opening
Sunny Deol’s previous films ‘Gadar 2’, ‘Border 2’, ‘Jatt’ got good response. ‘Gadar 2’ had an opening of Rs 40.1 crore. Whereas ‘Jaat’ had an opening of Rs 9.62 crores. The film ‘Border 2’ had an opening of Rs 32.1 crore. Now Sunny Deol’s ‘Bantwara 1947’ will have to earn more than Rs 40 crore on the opening day to beat these films. However, it is going to be a bit difficult for ‘Partition 2’. According to Koimoi, the film is expected to earn under Rs 30 crore on the opening day.

Emraan Hashmi is returning in lover style. The first part of this film may have been a flop but it is now considered a cult classic. There are expectations of good earnings of the film at the box office. In such a situation, there will be difficulties for Partition 1947.
