Amid the 2025 Asia Cup Trophy controversy, IPL Governing Council President Arun Dhumal has given a big statement about the India-Pakistan match. He made it clear that India-Pakistan will not play bilateral series. Dhumal has clearly stated that the country is the first for BCCI, cricket after that.

Arun Dhumal said in a conversation with the news agency IANS, “The government decides that India will not play bilateral series with Pakistan. We welcome this decision. The government’s stand, BCCI will also be the same.

He further said, “I believe the Indo-Pakistan match has been given more preference. Now there is no competition as before. If you ask any Indian to name 24 Pakistan players, they might not even remember. When we talk about Pakistan, there is still the name of players like Wasim Akram, Yunus and Shoab Akhtar in the minds of people, but I do not believe that I do not have such a player, but now I do not believe. Like we have a better fight with countries. Pakistan is our neighboring country.

The chairman of the IPL Governing Council said about the behavior of Pakistani players, “Many things have not happened, but we should not talk about what has happened now. For the great performance that the Indian team performed, we once again congratulate them.”
