In such a situation, let us tell you today whether ginger tea really reduces weight and what research says about this claim. </p>

<p>According to a review and meta analysis published in the National Library of Medicine, a positive effect on weight has been observed from the consumption of ginger. A total of 14 studies were included in this analysis, in which 473 people participated. According to the report, regular consumption of ginger has shown reduction in body weight, improvement in waist to hip ratio, reduction in fasting glucose and insulin resistance. Ginger has also helped in increasing good cholesterol. However, no significant effect was found on insulin, BMI, triglycerides, total and LDL cholesterol. At the same time, the result of this research also shows that even though the effect of ginger may not be very big, its effect on the weight related scale is positive. </p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The expert research the effect of ginger on a type of white blood cell called &#8216;neutrophil&#8217;. They were particularly interested in the formation of neutrophil extracellular trap (NET), also known as netosis and what it can mean to control inflammation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to research published in JCI Insight Journal, consumption of ginger of healthy individuals makes their neutrophils more resistant to netosis. This is important because NETs are structures like NET microscopic spider webs, which increase inflammation and clotting, which contribute to many autoimmune diseases including lupus, antifospholipid syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Ginger helps prevent netosis &#8211; Cryston Demoruel</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;There are many diseases in which neutrophils are unusually active,&#8221; said Cryston Demoruel, Associate Cryston Demoruel at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, USA. We found that ginger can help prevent netosis. This is important because it is a natural supplement, which can help people with many different autoimmune diseases to treat inflammation and symptoms. &#8220;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">During the clinical test, experts found that daily intake of ginger supplement by health volunteers (20 mg gingerols/day) promoted a chemical called CAMP inside the neutrophil. These high levels of CAMP stopped netosis in response to various disease-related stimuli.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What are the benefits of eating ginger?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Our research, first, is evidence for associate professors, MD, PhD, Senior Co-writer, Jason Knight at Michigan University which underlines the obvious inflammatory properties of ginger in people.&#8221;</p>
