In the first trend emerging from Bengal, BJP and TMC are running equally. Here both the parties are leading on 5-5 seats.

Voting was held in two phases in Bengal

There are 294 assembly seats in West Bengal, voting for which was held in two phases. In the first phase, voting was held on 152 seats on 23 April, while in the second phase, voting was held on 142 seats on 29 April. However, after the uproar on Falta seat, the Election Commission has decided to conduct re-polling. Therefore, today the election results will be declared only on 293 seats.

TMC claims- will form government for the fourth time

In West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is trying to return to power for the fourth consecutive time, while BJP is fighting to come to power this time. About 92 percent voting took place in this election. Most of the focus is on Bhawanipur seat because Mamata Banerjee herself is contesting the elections from here, BJP’s Subhendu Adhikari is giving her competition.

Bengal’s exit polls in favor of BJP

In Bengal, most of the exit polls have shown BJP getting the lead, while some surveys have claimed the return of TMC. In the exit poll of ‘Today’s Chanakya’, BJP is expected to get 192+ seats, while TMC is shown to be limited to 100+ seats. Whereas Matriz has predicted that BJP will get 146 to 161 seats and TMC will get 125 to 140 seats. P-Marq has claimed that BJP will reach 150 to 175 seats. Whereas Chanakya Strategies has predicted that BJP will get 150-160 seats and TMC will get 130-140 seats. Although People’s Pulse has given a strong lead to TMC with 177-187 seats, Janmat Polls has predicted Mamata Banerjee’s party to get 195-205 seats.
