A video surfaced from Betul district of Madhya Pradesh has created a big controversy on social media. In the viral video, a dead cow’s body is being dragged with a rope tied to the Nagar Panchayat’s garbage collection vehicle. As soon as this scene came to light, anger spread among the people and many people started demanding strict action, calling it inhuman. Along with the local people, cow protection organizations have also raised questions on the administration regarding the incident. The Panchayat says that due to non-availability of tractors, they were forced to use the garbage cart.

Cow died in a road accident

This case is being reported from Jhallar Gram Panchayat of Betul district. According to the information, a cow had died after being hit by an unknown vehicle on Paratwada Road. The cow was a stray, so no owner came forward. For this reason his body remained lying on the roadside for about two days. After this the Panchayat made arrangements to remove the dead body.

If tractor was not available then garbage cart was used

It was told that at that time tractor-trolley was not available to carry the dead body. In such a situation, the sanitation workers tied the dead cow’s carcass with a rope and took it to the garbage disposal site in the village’s garbage collection vehicle. Meanwhile, a person passing by made a video of the entire incident. The matter became a topic of discussion as soon as the video went viral on social media.
