If we look at the top-3 list, Ishita Gupta, a student of Woodward Public School, stood first in the district by securing 96.6 percent marks. In this race for success, Naveen Kushwaha of St. Thomas School, Gyanpur secured second position in the district with 96.4 percent marks. At the same time, Ankur Srivastava, another student of Woodward Public School, demonstrated his talent and secured 96 percent marks and secured third place in the merit list of the district.

Ishita is a resident of Kazipur (Main Road) of Bhadohi city. His father Amit Gupta (Guddu) is a carpet exporter. Father Amit and mother Shweta Gupta expressed happiness over their daughter’s historic success and said that Ishita has increased their respect in the entire district. How was the CBSE result?

Let us tell you that this year more than 17 lakh students had registered for CBSE 12th examination. Of these, about 16.8 lakh students appeared in the examination. After a long wait, when the results were declared, about 15 lakh students were declared successful. However, this time a slight decline was seen in the overall pass percentage. The overall pass percentage in the year 2026 was 85.20%, while in 2025 it was 88.39%. That means this time a decrease of about 3.19% was recorded. But education experts believe that this decline could be due to the strict evaluation and changed pattern of the examination.
