Bhagwan jagannath rath yatra: Millions of devotees have reached Puri for Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. The Odisha government has made a lot of preparation for the Rath Yatra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. A post has also been shared on social media on his behalf. The PM said that I wish everyone happiness and prosperity.

Prime Minister Modi said through X post, “My best wishes to all the countrymen on the holy occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. This holy festival of reverence and devotion brought happiness, prosperity, good luck and good health in everyone’s life, this is the wish. Jai Jagannath! ”

Millions of people reached Puri to attend the Rath Yatra

According to a PTI news, police sources said that by Thursday evening, about one lakh people had reached Puri and this number increased manifold on Friday morning. He informed that millions of devotees from all over the country and abroad are expected to participate in this chariot yatra. Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief administrator Arabind Padhi said, “With the grace of Mahaprabhu (Lord Jagannath), we are fully prepared for the smooth operation of the Rath Yatra on Friday. We are getting full support and support from the servicemen. All preparations have been completed to make this grand event a success. ”

Strict security arrangements in Puri

Around 10,000 security personnel have been deployed in the city, including eight troops of Central Armed Police Forces. Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) YB Khurania said that for the first time an integrated command and control center has been opened in Puri to keep a close watch on the entire festival.
