Maruti E-Vitara Bharat NCAP Safety Test: Maruti Suzuki has introduced the first electric car in the Indian market. This EV will be launched in the Indian market in January 2026. This electric car is available in about 12 countries of Europe. This EV will enter the Indian market in January 2026. But before this, Maruti’s electric car went through the safety test of Bharat NCAP, in which the e-Vitara has achieved 5-star safety rating. This car has completely passed the safety test. Earlier, Maruti E-Vitara has received 4-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

Safety score of Maruti e-Vitara

Along with the 5-star safety rating, Maruti e-Vitara has also become the car of Maruti to get the best score in India’s crash test program. In Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), e-Vitara has got 31.49 points out of 32. During the frontal off-set crash test, in which the car traveled at a speed of 64 kmph, it also got a ‘Good’ rating for the head and neck protection of the driver and front passenger. Whereas ‘ordinary’ rating was given for driver’s chest and ‘good’ rating was given for passenger’s chest protection.

In Child Occupant Protection (COP), e-Vitara has got 43 points out of 49. It has got 24 out of 24 marks in dynamic testing and 12 out of 12 marks in child restraint system installation. The remaining 7 marks are given for the vehicle assessment component.

Safety features of Maruti E-Vitara

Safety of passengers has been taken full care of in Maruti e-Vitara. Its standard features include 7 airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchor points and electronic stability control. This SUV of Maruti has been provided with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Along with this, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors are also provided.

Tata Motors Electric SUV Harrier Ev Gets 5-Stars in Bharat NCAP Crash Test

Tata Motors’ Harrier EV, launched earlier this month, has received a strong rating in terms of security. This electric SUV has got 5 stars in the Bharat National Crasse Assessment Program (NCAP) crash test. Even before this, some vehicles of Tata Motors got full score in the crash test.

A media Report According to, Harrier EV has got 5 stars in both adult oxmation protection and child oocative protection. This crash test applies to all variants of this electric SUV. Its security-related features include 540 degree camera view, hill hold, isofix seat mounts, 128 GB built-in dashakam with blind-spot monitoring. Apart from this, ABS is also provided with seven airbags and EBD. It has got a score of 32 points out of 32 points in adult ocaptown protection and 45 points out of 49 points in Child Opentry Protection. It has got a score of nine points out of 13 points in a vehicle assessment score.

Other safety features of this electric SUV include all disc brakes, brake disc wipe, electronic parking brakes with auto hold, headlamp leveling and seatbelt remanders. Harrier EV can reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.3 seconds. With this, it will be the fastest speed catcher EV in this segment. It has a dual motor (quad wheel drive) system which gives power to all four wheels. The Harrier Ev has a separate feature of transparent mode. It shows the position of the path under the SUV while driving on the central screen. It will be effective to deal with the obstacles in off-road.

It consists of six terrain modes with sand, Rock crawl and a customized setting. It has a 75 kwh battery pack. It can be charged for a range of 250 km in just 15 minutes from Quick Charger. The initial price of the Harrier EV is between Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It also supports a digital that can be accessed through smartphones, smartwatch and NFC cards. Tata Motors has the highest stake in the segment of electric vehicles.
