In the Bihar Assembly elections, the people have given overwhelming majority support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA. At the same time, BJP alone has won the maximum number of seats in Bihar. Till 6 pm on Friday (November 14, 2025) in Bihar, BJP has won 34 assembly seats. At the same time, it is maintaining its lead on 56 assembly seats.

After this landslide victory, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has expressed his gratitude to the people of Bihar in his response. JP Nadda shared a post on social media platform X on Friday (14 November). First of all he wrote in the post, ‘Many greetings to the people of Bihar. Hail Siya Ram.’

What did the BJP President say to the people of Bihar?,

He further said, ‘The historic public support received by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar is a seal of public confidence in the development-oriented and public welfare policies of the double engine government under the guidance of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This overwhelming majority is proof that our brothers and sisters of Bihar have completely rejected the jungle raj and corruption of the Grand Alliance and have accepted the dimensions of good governance, stability and development of the NDA.

JP Nadda said, “On behalf of all the workers, I heartily congratulate and thank the people of Bihar for the tremendous mandate given by the people of Bihar. These results show that this is a tsunami. This tsunami has made it clear that whether it is the people of Bihar or the people of the country, everyone has unwavering faith in the respected Prime Minister and he has approved the politics of development to take the state forward.”

Former Finance Minister of India and senior Congress party leader P. Chidambaram made a statement about the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, after which there has been political earthquake in the entire country. After Chidambaram’s statement, where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is targeting on one side, on the other hand, now his own Congress party leader has also raised questions.

Senior Congress leader Rashid Alvi has accused Chidambaram’s statement and accused the BJP of strengthening. He has asked former Finance Minister Chidambaram what he wants to prove with this statement? Want to say that the UPA government at that time was working under the pressure of America?

What did Rashid Alvi say about the statement of former finance minister,

According to the news agency IANS, senior Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, ‘What does Chidambaram want to say that the UPA government was working under the pressure of America? His statement will directly strengthen the BJP. Anyway, this is a matter of 2008 and now after 16 years, why are they making a statement on it? If they did not want this thing, then they should have resigned from their post.

Rashid Alvi said, ‘There are many such people inside the Congress party, who intend to weaken the Congress. The house caught fire, from the lamp of the house. Why does he want to prove that the UPA government at that time was working under the pressure of America. This means that he wants to strengthen the BJP.

What statement did P. Chidambaram give about 26/11 terror attack,

In fact, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister P. Chidambaram had said in a podcast that he was personally in favor of counter -military action against Pakistan after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, but the government led by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh used diplomatic measures against the neighboring country, which was shown by the Ministry of External Affairs.

He said that powerful countries including America also wanted India not to take war with Pakistan or any military action. Let us know that soon after the terrorist attack in Mumbai on 26 November 2011, P. Chidambaram was appointed as the Union Home Minister, before that he was taking over the charge of the Finance Ministry.

Former Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan has now become the newly elected Vice President of India. National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate CP Radhakrishnan won the election by securing 452 votes in the Vice Presidential election held on Tuesday (September 9, 2025). CP Radhakrishnan’s full name is Chandrapuram Ponusamy Radhakrishnan, who originally belongs to Tamil Nadu, the state at the southern end of India and who has a long political experience of more than five decades.

Born on 20 October 1957 in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, CP Radhakrishnan (CPR) was named by his mother after former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. After the announcement of the son’s name for the post of Vice President, his mother said that my first son was named after Murugan and the second was named after Krishna. Then his father once jokingly said that he would be like Dr. Radhakrishnan.

CPR’s family has been active in politics for more than 25 years

CK Radhakrishnan’s uncle CK Kuppusamy was also elected MP for three terms from the Congress party. His family has been in active politics for more than 25 years. One of the selected candidates who became BJP MP from Tamil Nadu, Radhakrishnan also held the post of President of Tamil Nadu state of BJP from 2003 to 2006.

CP Radhakrishnan joined active politics as a RSS volunteer in the 70s. After this, he was elected a member of the State Executive Committee in the Jana Sangh. Tamil Nadu was elected BJP secretary after working as a worker for a long time in 1994.

Subsequently, in the years 1998 and 1999, he was elected twice as an MP from Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency in Tamil Nadu. As an MP in the Lok Sabha, he worked as the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Textile.

CP Radhakrishnan was the Governor of Jharkhand and Maharashtra

CP Radhakrishnan has also been the Governor of Jharkhand and Maharashtra before being elected Vice President of India. On February 18, 2023, CP Radhakrishnan was appointed the Governor of Jharkhand on behalf of the central government. He took over as the Governor of Jharkhand for about one and a half years till July 30, 2024. After this he was appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra. However, during this time he also took over the additional charge of the Governor of Telangana and Puducherry.

All the political parties are throwing all the power to make voters in their favor for the upcoming assembly elections to be held in Bihar. But the biggest question in this is that in whose account Muslim minority votes in the state will go. Muslims hold about 17 percent of the total population of Bihar.

According to a survey conducted by Nitish Kumar’s Grand Alliance government in 2022, the Muslim community is 17.7 percent in the population of Bihar, while in the 2011 census the figure was recorded at 16.9 percent.

Muslim population vote share more in 87 out of 243 assembly seats

Out of the total 243 assembly seats in Bihar, there are 87 seats where the Muslim population is more than 20 percent. At the same time, the Muslim population in 47 assembly seats is between 15 to 20 percent. The largest Muslim population in Bihar comes from four districts of Seemanchal region, including Araria, Katihar, Kishanganj and Purnia. Of these four districts, the maximum number of Muslim population lives in Kishanganj, whose figure is 68 percent. At the same time, after this, there are 44 percent in Katihar, 43 percent in Araria and 38 percent Muslim population in Purnia. There are total 24 assembly seats in these four districts.

Whose strongest on Muslim votes in Bihar politics,

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has been getting the largest part of the traditionally Muslim votes in the state of Bihar. On the other hand, the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar has been getting about five (05) percent support from the total Muslim votes.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, when Nitish Kumar’s JDU contested the election with the left parties, he got a total of 23.5 percent Muslim vote share. After this, JDU fought the Lok Sabha elections of 2019 and 2024 with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and secured 6 percent and 12 percent Muslim vote share respectively. Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) were also part of the NDA in both these elections along with JDU and BJP.

Lalu and Nitish’s alliance impact on Muslim votes

If we talk that when Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD and CM Nitish Kumar’s JDU formed an alliance in the Bihar assembly elections in 2015, his alliance got 80 % of the Muslim vote share of the entire state. However, before the assembly elections in 2020, Nitish Kumar again changed his back and after that he got only 5 percent Muslim votes in the election. While the RJD alliance got 76 percent Muslim votes. Moreover, the grand alliance of RJD-Congress got 80 percent Muslim vote in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and 87 percent Muslim votes in the 2024 elections.

On Wednesday (August 20, 2025) in the Lok Sabha, the opposition created a lot of uproar over the bill removing the Chief Minister to the Prime Minister. Opposition MPs tore a copy of the bill in the House and threw towards the Home Minister. The reaction of BJP MP Kangana Ranaut from Mandi has come out about this.

What did Kangana Ranaut say on the opposition’s uproar?

Kangana Ranaut said, ‘What happened today in Parliament, the kind of scene we saw, will embarrass any civilized society. When Union Home Minister Amit Shah was presenting the bill in the Lok Sabha, MPs of opposition parties tried to remove their mic. Even the opposition leaders tore the bill and threw the bill on the mouth of Home Minister Amit Shah. Apart from this, there were many people in them who brought stones. He stoned the mouth of the Home Minister.

He said, ‘The way the MPs of opposition parties were committing violence, at that time our party leaders acted very restrained, but how long this will continue within Parliament, it is the biggest concern.’

Amit Shah introduced the bill

Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced a bill to amend the Constitution in the Lok Sabha during the monsoon session on Wednesday (August 20, 2025). In the bill that Amit Shah introduced, the Prime Minister, Union Minister, Chief Minister and ministers have been provided to resign for 30 consecutive days of custody, otherwise a provision has been made to cancel him from the post.

Opposition strongly criticized the bill

As soon as Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced this bill in the Lok Sabha, the leaders of the opposition started creating a ruckus. The opposition strongly criticized the bill and also demanded to withdraw it. Describing this bill as unconstitutional, Congress leader Manish Tiwari said, “This bill also opens doors on behalf of the state institutions to misuse political, whose arbitrary conduct has repeatedly objected to the Supreme Court.”
