It has been 39 days since the release of Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ and its earnings continue even today. The film has collected more than 150 crores in India. With this, its worldwide collection has crossed Rs 250 crore. In such a situation, this film has now been entered in the list of most profitable horror comedy films of Bollywood. It has defeated Priyadarshan and Akshay’s film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.

Box office collection of ‘Bhoot Bangla’

According to Sacknilk, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is earning money even on the 39th day. This is its sixth Monday. But, the film did amazing business on the sixth weekend. The film had collected Rs 1 crore on the 37th day i.e. on Saturday, while there was a bumper jump in its earnings on Sunday. The film did a business of Rs 1.35 crore. In this respect, the film got a 35% jump on Sunday as compared to Saturday.

81.82% jump on 37th day as compared to Friday

Not only this, the sixth weekend proved to be amazing for ‘Bhoot Bangla’. According to Sacknilk, the film had earned Rs 55 lakh on Friday and Rs 1 crore on Saturday, hence a bumper jump of 81.82% was recorded in the film’s earnings on the 37th day.

‘Bhoot Bangla’ enters the list of profitable horror comedy films

Not only this, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has entered the list of profitable horror comedy films. According to the report of Koimoi, the film is at number 7. Made on a budget of Rs 120 crore, the film has earned a profit of Rs 69.9 crore. The film has done a business of Rs 189.96 crore and in this respect the total profit of the film has been 58.3%.

Even though Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has recovered its budget at the box office and has recovered 58.25% more, it is still not a hit. To get this tag the film will have to collect at least Rs 240 crore more.
