Tejashwi Yadav has openly expressed his views on many issues including the results of Bihar Assembly elections. Discussing the reasons for RJD’s defeat in the elections, Tejashwi Yadav said that NDA has won in the state but democracy has lost.

He alleged that there is a double engine government but could not even get a sugar mill started. While claiming, he also said that unemployment was the biggest issue. People were angry towards the government. He did not want the NDA government to be formed again.

He claimed that people wanted a Bihar where there would be a government with education, earning, medicine, irrigation, hearing and action. Democracy has lost and machinery has won. They did not leave anything in this election. The vision we had. The government implemented all those things. For 20 years he was not able to remember that his pension had to be increased by Rs 400. When we asked, they implemented it.

No one is digesting our defeat – Tejashwi Yadav

During an interview with Kapil Sibal, Tejashwi Yadav was asked that RJD had won 75 seats in 2020 but why only 25 seats this time? On this he said, “Nobody is digesting this thing.” Especially if we talk to the people of Bihar, they too are not able to digest this. Even the MLAs of BJP, JDU or the ruling party who won the elections are not believing. 10 days before the election code of conduct, Rs 10,000 each were distributed. However, about Rs 40 thousand crores were distributed directly across Bihar in different schemes. You can say that bribe has been given.

Unemployment was the real issue in the entire election- Tejashwi Yadav

The former Deputy CM of Bihar further said, “You mentioned Bihar. Bihar is the poorest state, there is no industry and factory here. Unemployment and migration is highest. If we talk about education and health, it is one of the lagging states but Bihar also has the specialty that it is the youngest state in the country. Almost 60 percent are youth. The real issue of Bihar which was there in the entire election was that of unemployment. Be it paper leak, unemployment, corruption, quality of education, people go out of Bihar for three reasons the most, that is education, earning and medicine.

‘People supported us enthusiastically’

He also said, “Nitish Kumar ji ruled for 20 years. Narendra Modi ji has been the Prime Minister for 10-11 years. There is a double engine government but could not even start a sugar mill. These people never spoke anything positive about eliminating unemployment, providing employment, or anything positive. First of all in 2020, we had announced that if we become the Chief Minister, we will announce employment to 10 lakh youth in the first cabinet meeting. People supported us enthusiastically. The difference between our alliance and theirs was only 12 thousand votes. Talking about seats, the difference was only 12-14 seats. We have lost many seats by less than 1000 votes.

Our vote percentage has increased – Tejashwi Yadav

The RJD leader said, “While in power with Nitish Kumar, we provided around 5 lakh jobs. The paper was leaked after our withdrawal. Unemployment was the biggest issue. People were angry towards the government. He did not want the NDA government to be formed again. He wanted to create a new Bihar. If you see the data, our vote percentage has increased.

There is no point in elections – Tejashwi Yadav

He further said, “Everyone wanted change. EVM did not just want change, the wallet wanted change. The Election Commission was in a dishonest mood. An amendment was also made in the bill that no action can be taken against the Election Commission. Whatever doubts we had, the Election Commission did not clarify them. All the complaints we had were not heard. Given this situation, elections have no meaning left. Everything is fixed.

While the results of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 have revealed the fate of Chirag Paswan, on the other hand it has forced the political legacy of Lalu family and especially Tejashwi Yadav to think afresh. Since 2005, RJD has faced defeat in elections continuously.

C Voter founder Yashwant Deshmukh spoke to a channel regarding the results of Bihar elections. Regarding the data of the survey conducted after the elections, he said that he (Tejashwi Yadav) still remains popular among the young male voters and the memory of Jungle Raj is negligible among the youth.

Fear of Jungle Raj among women voters
According to the latest survey of C Voter, among the boys aged 18 to 24 years, 41 percent voted for NDA, while 43 percent voted for Grand Alliance and 16 percent voted for others. Among female voters aged 18 to 24 years, 50 percent voted for the NDA while 33 percent voted for the Grand Alliance and 17 percent voted for others.

What was said about MY equation?
Regarding RJD’s MY (Muslim-Yadav) equation, he said that Tejashwi is running with the inherited MY equation, but this time he has not got the entire vote of Y i.e. Yadavs. He told that the direct inclination of young women voters has been towards Nitish Kumar, this was clearly visible in the elections.

RJD will have to make a new strategy
He said that RJD will have to think about all these things and prepare its strategy afresh. NDA has got the votes of women voters because of Nitish Kumar and somewhere there is some kind of fear among them regarding RJD. He told that we talked to 1 lakh voters in the whole year and after the post poll, we again reached among the voters and talked to them.

The rift between Lalu family in Bihar has now come to the fore. Rohini Acharya has publicly announced that she is ending relations with the Lalu family. Meanwhile, a big statement has come from the eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav. He has claimed that his sister Rohini has been thrown out of the house. At the same time, the question has also been raised that if we continue like this then who will be left in the family and the party?

Actually, Tej Pratap Yadav posted from Janashakti Janata Dal’s Instagram account and wrote, “If you expel everyone, who will remain? This is the question the public is now asking.”

‘RJD’s seats fell because of my expulsion’- Tej Pratap Yadav

Tej Pratap further wrote, “When I was expelled, these same people were thinking that Tej Pratap is useless. What difference will it make? I was kept in check. My voice was suppressed. Still, I remained engaged in the party with all my heart. But the day I came out and put the truth of the ‘new RJD’ in front of the public, they understood what they had lost. You see for yourself what the figures say.”

After this, Tej Pratap showed the figures of decline in RJD seats from 2015 to 2025-

2015 — 80 seats
2020 — 75 seats
2025 — 25 seats

Along with this, Tej Pratap claimed, “This fall is not mine, the public is telling where the mistake happened and the interesting thing is that today the same people are asking, “If you expel everyone, who will be left?” Sadly, the same question people are asking today is where is the party left?

‘My goddess-like sister Rohini was also thrown out of the house’- Tej Pratap

Hurt over the end of his relationship with Rohini Acharya, Tej Pratap wrote, “First they expelled me, then they expelled my goddess-like sister Rohini. The whole of Bihar was laughing that the same family which made people laugh and cry, has today itself become a laughing stock.”

Not only this, Janashakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap, while referring to the context of Mahabharata, wrote, “Parth, whenever the show of honor has happened, religion has changed not only Hastinapur but the entire history. Today, the voices of the sisters and daughters of Bihar are again demanding justice and I promise that whoever challenges the honor, his destruction is assured. This is not politics, this is a war to protect the people.”

RJD will fall to 5 seats

Tej Pratap Yadav warned his brother Tejashwi and father Lalu Prasad Yadav that if things continue like this, it will not take long for RJD to go from 25 to 5 seats in the next elections. This is a miracle of just 20 days. If I had roamed across Bihar, these five seats would have come this time. We fought on 44 seats. There RJD got only 5 seats. The people of Bihar have understood that RJD is no longer a party with the ideology of Lalu ji, but has become a party taken over by Jaichands.

Tej Pratap Yadav further wrote that instead of principle, there is a sycophant, and instead of dedication, there is conspiracy. The questions there also seem hollow. I never fired anyone. I was taken away from my own home, from my own people. Yet the day the public heard me, one thing became clear.

After the massive defeat of the Grand Alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections (2025), a review meeting of RJD was held at the residence of Tejashwi Yadav on Monday (November 17, 2025). In this, a strategy was made for the future. RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav told the media about what was decided in the meeting. He said that in the meeting held, Tejashwi Yadav has been elected as the leader of the legislative party.

Shakti Yadav said that all the RJD candidates were present in the meeting. There were also winning MLAs. First a meeting was held with the elected MLA. In this, everyone elected Tejashwi Yadav as the leader of RJD’s legislative party. In the review meeting, National President Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi and senior leaders as well as Jagdanand Singh presented their views.

‘The mandate that came… is not being digested’

RJD spokesperson said that people also gave their opinion on this mandate. Because every person of Bihar was aware of the situation on the ground. There was a resentment against the government, but the way the mandate has come, it is not being digested.

In the meeting, Lalu Yadav gave freedom to Tejashwi Yadav to work independently. Said that he will take the party forward as a whole. Although Tejashwi Yadav said that if you want, you can choose someone else as leader, but no one was ready. Due to the opinion of all the people, he (Tejashwi) had to take the responsibility and was elected the leader of RJD legislative party.

Work will be done at booth and panchayat level

Further on the election results, Shakti Yadav said that this is machinery management mandate. Our review will run. Election Commission rules were flouted. Elections were going on and money was being sent to the account. This is the result of the machinery management that has taken place. We are not going to lose. We are talking on all points. Told the NDA that they are going to form the government, absolutely form the government and you should live up to the public sentiments. Regarding the future strategy, Shakti Yadav said that RJD will move forward to work at booth level and panchayat level.

RJD MLA Bhai Virendra said, “Tejashwi Yadav has been elected by the newly elected MLAs as the leader of the Legislative Assembly on behalf of the party. We will work on the guidelines given. There has been theft in EVMs. We have to fight against EVMs. We have won the elections because of what has happened with the ballot paper. We have lost in the EVMs only.”

After the landslide victory of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a grand welcome by the people of Bihari community in Surat district of Gujarat. During this, PM Modi also targeted the opposition grand alliance, citing the insult of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

PM Modi said that you must have seen the scenes of Bihar Assembly in the last two-three years. The way insulting Nitish Kumar had become a trend and the kind of foul language was being used, similar to what is seen in Parliament when other notables violate the decorum of Parliament, the same situation was visible in Patna. During this, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav were the targets of PM Modi.

#WATCH Surat, Gujarat , Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, “You must have seen the scenes in the Bihar Assembly over the past two or three years. The way insulting Nitish Kumar became fashionable, with vulgar language being used. The way the other ‘naamdaar’ in the Parliament… pic.twitter.com/8L3d27k0D2

He said that neither the people of the country accept such things nor the people of Bihar can tolerate it. There were many such incidents which created a feeling of complete hatred towards him in this election. PM Modi said that we have got a historic victory in Bihar and while moving ahead from Surat, I felt that if I did not meet the people of Bihar here, this journey would seem incomplete. Therefore, it is natural for me to greet my Bihari brothers and sisters living in Gujarat, especially Surat, and be a part of this victory celebration.

We celebrated Bihar’s centenary with full respect in Gujarat: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘When Bihar completed 100 years, it was natural to celebrate it in Bihar too, but even outside Bihar, we celebrated Bihar’s centenary with full respect and pride in Gujarat. In this election, NDA won and Grand Alliance lost, the difference in votes of both was only 10 percent. This shows that the attention of the common voters was focused on only one issue and that is development.

He said, ‘The desire for development was visible everywhere in Bihar. Today the hunger for development is visible everywhere in Bihar. I remember how people across the country were returning to their homes during Covid. At that time I had the opportunity to interact with the people of Bihar and many of them used those difficult times to start their own businesses. This is the real strength of the people of Bihar. Wherever you go in the world, you will always see the talent of Bihar shining.

We have only one mantra – Nation First – PM Modi

PM Modi said, ‘You (people of Surat) also know and the people of Bihar also know that we are that party, when you gave us the job as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, then also our mantra was that development of Gujarat for the development of India. Our basic thinking is – Nation First. This is the mantra for us, every corner of India, every state of India, every language-speaking citizen. This is worshipable and venerable for us. Therefore, being proud of Bihar and accepting the potential of Bihar is a very easy thing for us.

He said, ‘My brothers and sisters living in Surat were keeping a close eye on this election. There is no need to teach politics to the people of Bihar. He has the power to teach politics to the world.

PM Modi’s taunt on Tejashwi-Rahul

Taking a dig at the leaders of the opposition grand alliance, PM Modi said, ‘For the last two years, these leaders released on bail have been roaming around in Bihar chanting the tune of casteist politics. He tried his best to dissolve the poison of caste discrimination, but in this election the people of Bihar completely rejected that poison.

He said, ‘People from all areas of Bihar and all sections of the society gave unprecedented support to the NDA. NDA was victorious in 38, 34 areas dominated by Dalits. This is a big blow to those trying to divide them from the Dalit community. The people of the country have rejected MMC (Muslim League Maoist Congress). He does not understand why his party lost. That’s why they have chosen an easy excuse that sometimes they blame EVMs, sometimes the Election Commission, sometimes the SIR. This game of excuses may go on for a few days, but in the long run their workers will not accept it.

He further said, ‘I know that they cannot even say words like Swadeshi, self-reliant India or developed India, because their priorities are not the nation, not the people of the country. I want to tell my young friends that the youth will never accept those people whose thinking is not for the upliftment of the youth. Therefore, friends, the results of Bihar elections are an important milestone in the politics of India.

This time, NDA has registered a historic victory in the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, while the Grand Alliance has suffered a crushing defeat. Meanwhile, there have also been 5 such assembly seats, where the margin of victory and defeat has been very less.

The first name in this is of Sandesh Assembly seat, where JDU’s Radha Charan Shah has won by a very narrow margin of just 27 votes. He got 80,598 votes, while his opponent Dipu Singh of RJD got 80,571 votes. BJP’s Mahesh Paswan has won in Agiaon Assembly by only 95 votes. Mahesh Paswan got 69,412 votes, while his rival Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Mukti) candidate Shiv Prakash Ranjan was very close with 69,317 votes.

Very close fight in Forbesganj
Apart from this, the third fierce contest was seen in Forbesganj assembly seat, where Congress candidate Manoj Biswas won by a margin of 221 votes. Manoj Vishwas got a total of 1,20,114 votes, while BJP candidate Vidya Sagar Keshari stood second with 1,19,893 votes. The fourth interesting contest was on Bodhgaya seat. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Kumar Sarvjeet has won from Bodhgaya by a margin of 881 votes. He got a total of 1,00,236 votes, while LJP (Ram Vilas) candidate Shyamdev Paswan got 99,355 votes.

Tough competition seen in Bakhtiyarpur
A tough contest was also seen on the fifth assembly seat Bakhtiyarpur. Where Arun Kumar (son of Shatrughan Sao) of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) won by a margin of 981 votes. He got 88,520 votes, while RJD’s Anirudh Kumar got 87,539 votes. Very close contest was seen on these five seats.

This time BJP has succeeded in winning 89 seats in Bihar elections. Whereas, Nitish Kumar’s JDU got 85 seats. RJD has been able to win only 25 seats, this is also surprising because RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was declared the CM face by the Grand Alliance.

The results of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 have come and the fate of 2,600 candidates has been decided. In this election, while on one side there were candidates in the fray who owned properties worth crores of rupees, on the other side there were candidates who had properties not worth crores or lakhs, but only 1-2 thousand or 5-6 thousand rupees.

Among the rich and poor candidates, one candidate made a lot of headlines regarding his wealth and that is Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Sunil Kumar Choudhary. He was contesting from Peerpainti seat, a reserved seat in Bhagalpur district, and had declared in his election affidavit that he had zero assets.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Murari Paswan has won the election from Pirpainti seat. Sunil Kumar Chaudhary has got only 1586 votes. Sunil Kumar Chaudhary is 40 years old and he told in his election affidavit that he has studied only till 12th class and he does not have any job. According to the affidavit, he neither has any income nor does he have any liabilities. His affidavit was almost blank. Only the columns of his name, age and education were filled in it. He had declared zero net worth in this.

While candidates spent crores of rupees in Bihar elections, Sunil Kunar Chaudhary contested the elections with whatever support he got at the grassroots level. There is no criminal case against him. Apart from Sunil Kumar Chaudhary, there are ten more poor candidates, who have total assets of Rs 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 or Rs 6000.

In this election, NDA performed brilliantly and won 202 seats and the Grand Alliance won 35 seats. BJP has emerged as the largest party in this election.

Bihar Election Results 2025: The turn that Bihar politics took on 14 November 2025 shocked the entire country. When the counting of votes took place today after two phases of voting held on 6th and 11th November, the results were miraculous not only from the political but also from the astrological point of view. The question now is, was this victory just a matter of strategy, or did the planetary movements really bring BJP to the throne?

When the planets were changing in the sky, then on earth…

The first phase took place on 6th November, on that day the Scorpio ascendant was rising. Mars was in its own house, and according to astrology, when Mars is active in its own house, then victory is achieved through struggle. The entire campaigning of BJP was like that of ‘Aggressive Mangal’. Precise, striking, and disciplined. On the other hand, the opposition was running in the dasha of Venus. Venus was in the twelfth house, which indicates loss and confusion. This confusion sank the Grand Alliance.

When the second phase took place on November 11, the conjunction of Saturn and Moon in Aquarius clearly indicated that the public had made up its mind. Saturn is the planet of discipline, and the basic tone of BJP’s politics has been ‘Speak less, do concrete.’ This was the same combination that brought about the change of power in the 2014 general elections also.

Moon-Ketu conjunction on the day of counting means a sign of a sudden turn!

As soon as the counting of votes started on 14 November 2025, there was a big turning point from the astrological point of view. On that day the Moon was in conjunction with Ketu, which is considered a symbol of sudden results and unexpected victories. The same thing happened on this day in the political history of Bihar. The trends in many seats were going in favor of the opposition, but in the last phase the mood changed. Just like Ketu changes direction in a moment, the result changed the path of power.

Jupiter (Jupiter) was in Scorpio in its retrograde state at that time. When this planet goes retrograde, it brings about the ‘re-emergence of truth’. This meant that the public was tired of the instability of the past two years, and wanted a stable leadership. NDA gave the same.

How was the great union of power formed?

BJP and JD(U) won this election not only on the ground but also in the sky. He transformed the energy of Mars into the language of ‘young voters’. Converted anger into organization. He converted Shani’s stability into the promise of ‘governance’. Gave policy, not slogans.

And the conjunction of Ketu destroyed the opposition’s strategy. Where there was confusion, there was chaos. The voting percentage (more than 67%) also went in favor of the planets. Higher turnout often benefits the party that is more ‘connected’ to the public, and the NDA proved that their rapport matched both the public mood and the planetary signs.

Opposition’s defeat in planetary court

For the Grand Alliance, Rahu was placed in the ‘third house’ which symbolizes instability, internal divisions and confusion in propaganda. This is exactly what was seen in the last week of elections. Poster controversy, dissatisfaction in seat distribution and questions on leadership. Whereas in BJP’s horoscope, the aspect of Jupiter was falling on the house of power, this created ‘Vikas-Yoga’. Political analysts may say that this was a victory of strategy, but from the point of view of planetary transit, it was a ‘coincidence of time’, when the sky joined hands with the earth.

Stars don’t lie, but they need people to understand

Bihar’s 2025 elections became an example. When policy, leadership and constellations are in the same direction, change definitely happens. Mars energy on November 6, Saturn-Moon restraint on November 11, and Moon-Ketu conjunction on November 14. This triangular astrological power became the victory flag of BJP. This victory was not only of Bihar, but also of the ‘timing’ of the planetary transit. The results of Bihar once again proved that politics is written not only on earth but also in the sky.

The results of Bihar assembly elections will be declared today. NDA seems to be getting the lead in the initial trends. At the same time, the Grand Alliance is leading on only 59 seats. Meanwhile, in Bakhtiyarpur assembly seat, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) candidate Arun Kumar has taken a huge lead in the initial round.

At the time of writing, according to the Election Commission, till the seventh round, Arun Kumar is leading with 28,208 votes and his nearest rival, RJD’s Anirudh Kumar, is with 19,013 votes. At present, Arun Kumar’s lead is about 9,195 votes, which is much more than other candidates. This clearly indicates that victory is almost certain in their favor and no opponent will be able to leave them behind.

Candidates of other parties are far behind

This lead of Lok Janshakti Party has increased the hopes of Chirag Paswan and his party getting this seat. Other candidates like Anirudh Kumar (RJD), Balmiki Singh (Jan Suraj Party), Deepak Bhai Patel (BSP) and others are all trailing behind Arun Kumar.

Lok Janshakti Party contesting elections on 29 seats

This time Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has entered the electoral fray with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The party has been given 29 seats in Bihar, which are in the districts of Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Khagaria, Vaishali, Rohtas, Nawada, Saran, Sitamarhi, East Champaran, Saharsa, Siwan, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Buxar, Jehanabad and Aurangabad.

How was LJP’s performance in the last elections?

In 2020, LJP had fielded candidates on 135 seats, but only the Matihani seat of Begusarai was won. At that time Rajkumar Singh became the only MLA of the party. In 2020, the party got 5.66 percent votes in the state. Whereas in 2015, LJP was a part of NDA and it got only two seats.

The results of Bihar Assembly elections are going to be declared today and everyone’s eyes are especially on the Muslim dominated assembly seats. Bihar has about 18 percent Muslim population, hence there should be at least 44 Muslim MLAs. However, since 1951 till now, such a number of Muslim MLAs have never emerged victorious. This time it remains to be seen how many Muslim candidates will be successful in making a place in the assembly.

What is the status of Muslim candidates?

In Bihar Assembly elections, both NDA and Grand Alliance have placed their bets on Muslim candidates. The grand alliance led by Tejashwi Yadav has fielded 30 Muslim candidates, while the NDA led by Nitish Kumar has fielded 5 Muslim candidates. In this way, there is direct competition between Muslim candidates on seats like Araria, Jokihat, Bahadurganj and Amour.

History of Muslim representation in Bihar

The history of Muslim representation in Bihar has been full of ups and downs. In the 1985 elections, the maximum number of 34 Muslim MLAs were elected, but at that time elections were held on a total of 324 seats in United Bihar. In contrast, in 2005, only 16 Muslim MLAs could win.

A total of 19 Muslim MLAs were elected in the 2020 elections of 243 seats in Bihar, which included 8 from RJD, 4 from Congress, 5 from AIMIM, 1 from CPI(ML) and 1 from BSP.

If we look at history, in the first assembly elections of 1951-52, 24 Muslims became MLAs. After this, 25 MLAs were elected in 1957, 21 in 1962, 18 in 1967, 19 in 1969, 25 each in 1972 and 1977, 28 in 1980 and 34 in 1985.
