Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Kumar Sarvjeet has won from Bodhgaya by a margin of 881 votes. He got a total of 1,00,236 votes, while LJP (Ram Vilas) candidate Shyamdev Paswan got 99,355 votes.

Tough competition seen in Bakhtiyarpur
A tough contest was also seen on the fifth assembly seat Bakhtiyarpur. Where Arun Kumar (son of Shatrughan Sao) of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) won by a margin of 981 votes. He got 88,520 votes, while RJD’s Anirudh Kumar got 87,539 votes. Very close contest was seen on these five seats.
