The campaign for the second and last phase of Bihar Assembly elections (Bihar Election 2025) has stopped. In this case, Om Prakash Rajbhar, an ally of the ruling coalition party NDA and cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, has come to the fore. Om Prakash Rajbhar has expressed hope of forming a grand alliance government after bumper voting in Bihar. His statement may prove to be a blow to the NDA before the voting.

Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, which supported the UP government in Bihar elections, is continuously giving statements against its own alliance and now Om Prakash Rajbhar has claimed to form the Rashtriya Janata Dal government in Bihar.

RJD claims to form government in Bihar

Rajbhar has expressed hope of forming Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) government after bumper voting in Bihar. He said that if the voting percentage is above 60 percent then the Grand Alliance government will be formed.

During this, Rajbhar took a dig at the Padyatra being taken out from Delhi to Vrindavan by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of the Bageshwar Dham government. He said that when the President, Prime Minister and Chief Minister are all Hindus, then what kind of problem is there. But nowadays sages and Mahatmas do drama to come into leadership.

He said that when discussion starts about them, they will later join political parties and become MPs like Chinmayanand and Sakshi Maharaj. After this statement of Rajbhar, political turmoil has intensified.

Subhasp is fighting on 64 seats of bihar

Let us tell you that Om Prakash Rajbhar’s SubhaSP has fielded candidates on 64 seats in Bihar alone. Rajbhar and his sons Dr. Arvind Rajbhar and Arun Rajbhar have also held several election meetings against the NDA during the elections. SubhaSP candidates are contesting against NDA on 34 seats in the second phase.

It is believed that Subha Sabha candidates can influence the victory equation of NDA or Grand Alliance candidates on many seats. The second phase of voting in Bihar is to be held on Tuesday, November 11. Election results will come on 14 November.

The Home Ministry has provided Y+ category security to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav. The Home Ministry has given this security to Janashakti Janata Dal founder Tej Pratap Yadav amid Bihar elections. Let us tell you that Tej Pratap Yadav has got the security of CRPF.

According to information received from sources, this security has been provided under VIP protocol. According to sources, security agencies had presented a special report regarding the security of Tej Pratap Yadav, after which the central government decided to increase his security. After Tej Pratap Yadav gets Y Plus security, Central Reserve Police Force personnel will be deployed for his security.

Security agencies had submitted the report to the government

Let us tell you that the investigating agency had given information to the Home Ministry regarding the security of Tej Pratap Yadav. Amidst the elections, Tej Pratap himself had expressed concern about his safety. Also, Tej Pratap had demanded his security from the ministry.

Keeping in view the demand of Tej Pratap, the Home Ministry provided him Y category security. Now Tej Pratap Yadav will be provided security from all sides by CRPF personnel. As soon as this news came out, there was discussion in political circles.

What is in this category?

If we talk about this category, a total of 11 security personnel are included in it. Armed forces commandos are deployed in the cordon. And out of these, 5 soldiers remain ready for security at his house. Apart from this, security is provided in three shifts.

Tej Pratap Yadav is active in Bihar elections

Tej Pratap Yadav seems to be completely active in Bihar elections 2025. He has fielded more than 40 candidates in the elections on behalf of his party. He himself is contesting from Mahua seat. Meanwhile, he has also been seen campaigning vigorously.

An altercation took place between him and RJD MLC Ajay Singh in Lakhisarai itself.

Which leader said what on the first phase of elections?

Samrat Chaudhary: “I would like to thank the administration of Bihar, the people of Bihar and the Election Commission for the peaceful voting. The way the common voters of Bihar are coming out and voting, it is clearly visible that there has been 4-5% more voting in this election than the last election. The report that has come from our representatives after the first phase, out of 121 seats, NDA is winning around 100 seats and this is going to break the results of 2010.”

Vijay Kumar Sinha: “People have faith in the double engine government. NDA government will be formed again. Lakhisarai was made a hot seat. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav had said that take it in writing that Vijay Sinha will not win from here. Some people had made it a reputation to which the public has responded.”

Chirag Paswan: “…the way the trends are coming, one thing is clear in which there is not even an iota of doubt that after the results on 14th, NDA government is going to be formed in Bihar once again.”

Tej Pratap Yadav: “…In a democracy, the public is the master. The love and blessings of parents have their place… We will support whoever does good work. We have full faith…”

Mukesh Sahni: “There is a wave of change in Bihar. Bumper voting is taking place. I am hopeful that there will be change in Bihar. A grand alliance government will be formed.”

Akhilesh Prasad Singh: “The grand alliance is going to form the government with two-thirds majority. I had already said that Bihar is going to give shocking results and the kind of news coming today makes it clear that there is a change in power…”

Tejashwi Yadav: “A new government is going to be formed on November 14.”

Voting took place for the first phase on Thursday (November 6) on 121 assembly seats in 18 districts of Bihar, but not a single vote was cast at polling booths 165, 166 in the primary school of Nizampur village of Fatuha assembly in Patna district from 7 am to 5.30 pm. BLO Sanjay Kumar informed senior officials about this. Senior officials arrived and explained to the villagers but no one came to vote.

there are so many voters

BLO Sanjay Kumar told ABP News that we tried a lot to explain to the villagers and gave slips to every house but no one came to vote, about which we also informed the senior officials but even after their explanation the villagers did not agree. BLO said that there are 743 voters at polling booth 165 and 886 voters at booth number 166. And not a single vote took place at both the polling booths; voting was completely boycotted.

The team of the polling party reached here to conduct polling at the polling booth from 5 am in the morning, security personnel arrived, but not a single voter came to this polling booth since morning. But a large number of villagers were gathered outside the polling booth.

Why did the villagers boycott?

When the ABP News team talked to the villagers who were boycotting the voting, they told that many acres of land of our society has been captured by the land mafia in connivance with the police. Regarding this, we met all the officials from bottom to top, but till date neither the land has been received nor any action has been taken against the mafia.

While talking to ABP News, the villagers narrated their story of how the police harasses them. How cases are written against them. Although only the administration will tell the truth of this whole matter, but if such a large number of voters boycott voting in this great festival of democracy, then questions are bound to be raised.

Let us tell you that last time 55.81 percent voting took place on these 121 seats. This time the figure reached 60.13 percent at 5 pm itself. Prashant Kishor’s party has entered the field with full force this time.
The respective claims of the leaders of the Grand Alliance

On the other hand, the leaders of the Grand Alliance have their own claims. Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary MA Baby on Thursday (November 06, 2025) said that the Grand Alliance’s campaign has received an overwhelming response from the people of Bihar and expressed confidence that the people, especially the youth, will reject the ‘politics of hate’.

The CPI(M) general secretary said in a post on ‘X’ that the opposition alliance has raised the issues of people’s welfare and livelihood. Baby said, “The Grand Alliance campaign has received an overwhelming response from the people of Bihar. We have been successful in bringing to the fore the issues of people’s welfare and livelihood.”

Mukesh Sahni said – there will be change in Bihar

Regarding the first phase of voting, VIP supremo Mukesh Sahni said that there is a wave of change in Bihar. We have received information that bumper voting has taken place. I hope that this time there will be a change in entire Bihar and a grand alliance government will be formed.

Samrat claimed victory on more than 100 seats

BJP leader and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary thanked for the high turnout in the first phase. He said that the report has come that out of 121 seats, NDA is winning about 100 seats. Just as no one from the Lalu family came out victorious in 2010, this time also no one from the Lalu family is going to win.

BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha and RJD MLC Ajay Singh clashed. Both the leaders came face to face in Nadiyawan of Lakhisarai.

Vijay Kumar Sinha accused Ajay Singh of creating ruckus after drinking alcohol. On this occasion, Vijay Kumar Sinha told Ajay Singh that we will fix the goons of RJD. When Vijay Kumar Sinha talked about drinking alcohol, Ajay Singh showed his anger and said that who are you to speak? MLC said that your (Vijay Sinha) bail has been confiscated…

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed an election meeting in Jamui amid the voting on 121 seats in the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections on Thursday (6 November). He targeted the pre-2005 government. He said that before 2005, people used to hide in their homes as soon as the evening falls.

During his speech, CM Nitish Kumar said, “You all know that our government came to power on 24 November 2005 and has been in power for 20 years. In these 20 years, our government did development work in Bihar.”

‘People did not go out in the evening’

Taking aim at the previous governments, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “The previous government had left the state in a very bad condition. People did not feel safe going out after the evening, communal clashes often took place.

‘Earlier education was limited’

He further said, “Education was limited, very few children studied and health services were inadequate. Roads were in poor condition and electricity was available in very few places. When our government came, we worked in the interest of everyone.”

‘Government is developing double engine’

CM Nitish Kumar also said in the election rally, “The double engine government is developing Bihar. There is no atmosphere of fear and terror in our government, there is an atmosphere of peace.”

He said, “Our government worked on education and health, new schools were opened. Started a bicycle scheme to bring children to school. Reinstated 2 lakh 58 thousand teachers. Earlier the health service was very poor, medicines were made free at health centres. The number of medical colleges was increased. New medical colleges are being built in 27 districts. Roads were built in rural areas.”

Referring to employment, the CM said, “Our government has given employment to 50 lakh youth. Now it has been decided that one crore youth will be given jobs in five years.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed an election rally on Thursday (November 06, 2025) in Sitamarhi, Bihar. On this occasion, Rajnath Singh said that just a day or two ago, in a public meeting of Tejashwi Yadav’s party, a small child, who was barely 6-7 years old, was holding a mike in his hand and telling him that if Tejashwi Yadav becomes the Chief Minister, we will have a sword in our hands. I don’t want to blame the little child. This is the culture of that political party.

Taking aim at RJD, Rajnath Singh said to the people who came to the meeting, “Even today the same thing remains in the minds of those people… Does RJD want to create similar situation in Bihar again?”

Referring to the RJD rule, Rajnath Singh said, “There was goondaraj in Bihar.
The video of the child and the pistol mentioned by Rajnath Singh has been shared by BJP leader Ajay Alok on his ex.
The first phase of voting is going on in Bihar today (Thursday) and amidst the assembly elections (2025), a video has surfaced from Maner area of Patna which is of RJD MLA Bhai Virendra. It is seen in the video that brother Virendra is harassing a policeman at the polling booth.

Actually, it is seen in the video that this policeman was checking the nomination papers at the gate of the polling station itself. After this he was letting it inside. During this time, when a woman voter was stopped by a policeman, brother Virendra said, “Let it go… who are you to check? Who will check inside… you have come here to work for BJP… you are Tiwari, friend…”

Let us tell you that brother Virendra is contesting elections from Maner on RJD ticket. He is also the MLA from this seat. A few months ago, a video of brother Virendra went viral in which he was talking to the Panchayat Secretary on the phone. Once again brother Virendra has come into discussion.

What did brother Virendra say on this?

Talking to the media, RJD MLA Bhai Virendra said, “The public is ready to change the government. A Grand Alliance government will be formed. Good news is coming from everywhere but the administration does not have the power to check the papers. It is also checking the papers of our voters. There is a Tiwari… there is a Jamadar… does he have the power to check it…? There is no power to check it, so I said I will report.” On a question he said that this is definitely an attempt to stop the voters. On the other hand, the policeman who did this said that the system officer had asked him to check.

Voting for the first phase of assembly elections is going on in Bihar on Thursday (November 6, 2025). Before the elections, 16 representatives from seven countries reached Patna under the International Election Visitor Program (IEVP) of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and saw the arrangements for the first phase of Bihar elections.

Representatives from Indonesia, Colombia, Philippines, France, Belgium, South Africa and Thailand came to see the Commission’s arrangements for voting. The inaugural session of IEVP 2025 was held on Tuesday at the India International Institute for Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), New Delhi. All 16 delegates representing seven countries participated in this session.

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioner Vivek Joshi talked to 16 participants from these seven countries. During the conversation, he was informed about the strong electoral structure of India. Along with this, a demonstration of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) was shown to these representatives. Senior Election Commission officials briefed them on key aspects of election management such as preparation of voter lists and conducting free and fair elections.

Under this program, 16 representatives from 7 countries have reached Bihar. This tour started on Wednesday. During the Bihar tour, these representatives visited EVM dispatch centers and saw the voting process directly.

The IEVP is one of the major initiatives of the Election Commission for international cooperation and engagement with Election Management Bodies (EMBs) around the world. Since 2014, IEVP has been showcasing the strengths of India’s electoral system to the international community and sharing best practices for voting in the world’s largest democracy.

Voting for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections started at 7 am on 121 seats in 18 districts of the state. There are 1,314 candidates in the fray in this election, including 1,192 male and 122 female candidates. According to the Election Commission, there are a total of 3,75,13,302 voters in this election, which includes 1,98,35,325 men, 1,76,77,219 women and 758 voters of third gender. The total number of polling stations is 45,341, which includes 36,733 polling stations in rural areas and 8,608 polling stations in urban areas.
