Amid the electoral atmosphere in Bihar, a leader of RJD was shot dead by criminals in the capital Patna on Wednesday (September 10). This sensational incident has not only created a stir in political circles but has also raised serious questions on the security system of the state.

According to the police, the incident took place when unknown assailants suddenly fired on the leader and fired closely. Eyewitnesses say that the attackers carried out the incident very fast and escaped from the spot. Police engaged in investigating CCTV footage

Patna East SP Antahi Kumar said, “The incident of firing occurred shortly before. Initial investigation by the police has revealed that the attackers had already known about the activities of the victim and they carried out the murder by making a complete plan. However, the reason for the murder is not yet clear.
