Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday (November 04, 2025) hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of creating ‘drama’ regarding Chhath Puja. Attacking the NDA government, Gandhi also accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of turning the youth of Bihar into laborers and eliminating all employment opportunities for them.

Addressing an election rally in Darbhanga, Gandhi said, ‘BJP created this whole drama regarding Chhath Puja, told the whole country that he would take a holy dip in the Yamuna, but behind the scenes, a pipe was installed to bring clean water, arrangements for clean water were made especially for Narendra Modi’s bath. If the PM has to take a bath, he will bring clean water, he will not smell the Yamuna, but when the issue of clean water pipes came in the media, Narendra Modi refused to take a bath in the Yamuna.

Narendra Modi was about to take bath in Yamuna during Chhath Puja. For their bathing, clean water pipes were installed and a special pond was built.

PM Modi had accused Chhathi Maiya of insulting her.

While addressing a rally in Nawada, Bihar, Prime Minister Modi had accused the ‘India’ alliance of insulting Chhathi Maiya. Addressing the rally, the PM said, RJD and Congress people call the worship of Chhathi Maiya a ‘gimmick’. These people do not know anything about the power of Sun God.

The Congress leader said, ‘Narendra Modi-Amit Shah know that they cannot win elections in Bihar, that is why they will ‘steal votes’. BJP stole the elections of Maharashtra, Haryana and Lok Sabha and now they want to steal the elections in Bihar. But the people of Bihar are smart and they will not let this happen. Bihar knows that ‘vote theft’ is an attack on the Constitution. The public understands that if ‘vote theft’ occurs then all rights will be lost.

Rahul Gandhi accused of misleading the youth

Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Modi of misleading the youth through social media. He told the people of Bihar, ‘PM Modi wants you to get addicted to using Reel, Instagram, Facebook, this is the new addiction of the 21st century. This will keep the youth astray and will not question the government on problems related to education, health and employment.

Rahul Gandhi further said, ‘Narendra Modi has closed all avenues for the youth of Bihar. For those youth who wanted to join the army, Modi government brought Agniveer. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi claimed on Tuesday (November 04, 2025) that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been captured by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and now Nitish Kumar’s government is never going to be formed in the state.

Addressing election meetings in Aurangabad and Kutumba, he also said that just as television channels are changed through remote, in the same way Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah change ‘Nitish Kumar’s channel’ and the Chief Minister of Bihar does whatever these two top BJP leaders want.

Nitish Kumar is following the instructions of PM Modi and Shah

The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha claimed that Prime Minister Modi and the Home Minister will try their best to ‘steal votes’ because they know that without this they cannot win. Rahul Gandhi called upon people to be prepared to stop ‘vote theft’. ‘Grand alliance wants to give free ration to infiltrators’

He said, ‘They (RJD-Congress) want that free ration should be given to the infiltrators and not to the original residents of Bihar. We will not allow infiltrators to capture the resources of Bihar and the country. Congress and RJD are ‘hard and fundamentalist’. This is why they opposed the Triple Talaq law and are now talking about abolishing the Waqf Act, because they have surrendered to fundamentalism.

The Prime Minister said, ‘Katihar was once considered a punishment posting for government employees. Earlier it was a backward district, but our government has made it an aspirational district. Earlier, in the election meeting in Saharsa, the Prime Minister made a scathing attack on the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress and said, ‘National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is the symbol of development, while RJD-Congress are the symbol of destruction.’

Good governance government will be formed again in Bihar

Modi said, ‘New and first-time voters should vote for the bright future of Bihar. NDA government will be formed with the votes of the youth who voted for the first time and Jungle Raj will be defeated. Bihar is moving rapidly on the path of development, this pace should not stop. PM Modi’s message to the daughters of Bihar

The Prime Minister said that the people of Bihar had rejected RJD in the 2005 assembly elections, but after the defeat, they decided to take revenge from the people. He alleged, ‘The then United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government had stopped the development of Bihar. Now the public should teach them a lesson.

NDA worked for permanent solution to floods

Modi said that his government restarted development works in Bihar and released adequate funds from the Centre. In the same sequence, he said, ‘The country’s longest bridge is being built on Kosi river. Congress and RJD never realized the pain of Kosi region. Our government has started work for a permanent solution to floods.

The Prime Minister said that the government has constituted ‘Makhana Board’ so that the makhana of this region reaches international markets. Police was also unsafe during RJD rule

He reminded that even the police was not safe during the RJD rule. Saharsa DSP Satyapal was murdered only because he had taken action against law breakers. He said, ‘At that time there used to be murders of contractors and there was a market for crime and kidnapping.’

Modi said that today work is being done on roads, airports and big infrastructure projects in Bihar, but RJD and Congress do not like all this. The Prime Minister said that soon the manufacturing of electric vehicles and mobile phones will start in Bihar, due to which this region will become a big center of ‘Make in India’.

PM Modi called Congress-RJD an alliance of compulsion

Referring to Nalanda University, Modi said that the Congress government had given only Rs 20 crore for its redevelopment, whereas we spent Rs 2,000 crore and today students from 21 countries are studying in Nalanda University.

Modi said that Congress never considered the RJD leader as the chief ministerial candidate, but now they are contesting the elections under his leadership. He called it an alliance of compulsion. He said, ‘I urge all the people who have come to perform Chhath Puja to return to their places of work only after voting. The future of Bihar will be decided by your vote.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (November 02, 2025) attacked Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family and said that if his son comes to power, three new ministries of ‘murder, kidnapping and extortion’ will be created in Bihar.

Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur, Shah claimed that if the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government remains intact, Bihar will be made flood-free and a separate ministry will be formed for this. Shah said, ‘If NDA remains in power, Bihar will be made flood free. A separate ministry will be set up for flood control.

Shah’s taunt on Tejashwi Yadav and RJD

Shah appealed to the public to vote for the NDA to prevent a repeat of the Jungle Raj seen during the RJD rule. He said, ‘If Lalu ji’s son (Tejashwi Yadav) becomes the Chief Minister, then three new ministries will be formed in Bihar, one for murder, the second for kidnapping and the third for extortion. Modi-Nitish announced development plans in Bihar

Shah has announced that a special Vande Bharat train will be started from Sitamarhi in Bihar, which is considered the birthplace of Mata Sita, to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. He said that this service will be started after the construction of the temple in Sitamarhi at a cost of Rs 850 crore. Describing the NDA constituents as ‘five Pandavas’, Shah said, ‘BJP, JD(U), Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas), ‘Hum’ and Kushwaha’s party together will make Bihar prosperous.
