Seat sharing has been announced just before the Bihar Assembly elections. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United and Bharatiya Janata Party will contest elections on 101-101 seats. Both are on equal footing. Whereas Chirag Paswan’s LJP Ram Vilas has got 29 seats. Similarly, seats of other allies of NDA have also been decided. The important thing is that Nitish’s party is no longer in the role of elder brother. JDU and BJP are on equal footing. If sources are to be believed, Chirag is also happy after the partition, but there is resentment among Jitanram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary said after the division, ,Seats have been compromised, NDA is completely comfortable Yes, now we will soon decide who will get the ticket from where., Whereas Vijay Sinha said, NDA alliance will be completely successful, our government will be formed with an overwhelming majority. Manjhi ji (Jitan Ram Manjhi) is also satisfied, he has said, we are together.,

What did Jitan Ram Manjhi say on seat sharing?

When NDA’s two smaller allies, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) led by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLMO) led by Rajya Sabha member Upendra Kushwaha got six seats each, both the parties expressed dissatisfaction with the seat sharing formula. Manjhi said, ,We have accepted the decision taken from above. But we have been underestimated by giving only six seats. This will impact NDA in the elections.,

While addressing the party workers on ‘X’ late night after the announcement of seat sharing, Kushwaha wrote, “Dear friends, I apologize to all of you. The number of seats we have got is not as per your expectation. I understand that this decision will hurt those colleagues who had expected to become candidates from our party.

Let us inform that on Sunday, NDA had announced seat sharing for the elections of 243-member assembly, under which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United (JDU) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest on 101-101 seats, while the remaining seats will be given to smaller constituent parties. Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will field candidates on 29 seats.
