In Bihar Assembly on Thursday (February 05, 2026), Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav vented his anger on the NDA government. Tejashwi Yadav said that you people have turned democracy into a dictatorship of fear. This government’s sleep is not disturbed even by the screams of its daughters. Tejashwi said that looking at the condition of Bihar, it seems that the criminals have full faith that this government cannot uproot anything from them. There is no fear among the criminals of Bihar but there is no shame in the government either.

Tejashwi Yadav told the Speaker in the House that his toenail was completely uprooted, hence he wanted to sit and express his views. The Speaker of the Assembly gave permission to sit. After this, Tejashwi Yadav mentioned the NEET scandal of Patna. Apart from this, he said about other districts that in Madhepura a woman was raped and murdered, in Khagaria a four year old girl was raped and murdered. A woman and three children were kidnapped and then murdered in Muzaffarpur. Along with this, he also got other crimes counted.

Cold storage told to Bihar government

Tejashwi Yadav said that the police station is silent, the administration is unconscious and the government is completely intoxicated. There is regret and anger among the public for this government. Bihar government has become cold storage. She is busy in cooling down every matter.

‘Bihar is number one in what?’

The RJD leader said that when Bihar is developing so much, then let us tell you one thing that in what respect is Bihar number one? Bihar is the poorest compared to other states. Unemployment is highest. There is lagging behind in the matter of education. Lagging behind in health matters. First in corruption. Criminals dominate. Per capita income is the lowest. Farmers are feeling cheated. The houses of the poor people whose votes were taken are being destroyed.
