Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released the result of the recruitment examination conducted for ex-servicemen under the Reserve Branch of the Home Department. According to the issued notice, candidates will have to type in the typing test in both Hindi and English languages ​​at the prescribed speed. Candidates will have to type 250 words in 10 minutes. The minimum typing speed in both Hindi and English has been kept at 25 words per minute. The margin of error in this is very low. To pass, errors made should be less than 1.5 percent. If there are more mistakes than this, the candidates will be declared ineligible and they will not be considered selected for the post of Lower Division Clerk.

When can the typing test be done?

The Commission said that the typing examination is likely to be held in January 2026. Mangal Font will be used for Hindi typing, which will have Remington Gail keyboard layout. UTF-8 English (US) Keyboard Layout will be applicable for English typing. The Commission will soon publish detailed instructions related to the typing test on its website, so that the candidates can prepare properly and appear in the examination on time.
