The registration process has started from 8 September 2025 and the last date for filling the form has been fixed on 16 September 2025. Candidates will have to visit secondDary.biharboardonline.com for the application.

How much is the application fee?

• For a paper:
• General/BC/EWS – Rs 960
• SC/ST/PH – Rs 760
• For both papers:
• General/BC/EWS – Rs 1440
• SC/ST/PH – Rs 1140

Fees can only be paid with online mode (debit card/credit card/net banking)

When will the exam be done?

Stet 2025 Examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between October 4 to October 25, 2025, while the possible date for declaration of results is 1 November 2025.

Age limit and discount

• Maximum age limit for general category: 37 years
• Women, Backward Classes (BC) and Most Backward Classes (MBC) candidates will get additional discount of 3 years.

2. Click on the link “Bihar STET 2025 Application” or “New Registration” given on the homepage.
3Fill the required details for registration and generate registration number and password.
4Login and fill the form and scan and upload the required documents.
5Submit the application fee from debit card, credit card or net banking.
6Check all the information carefully and submit the form.
7After submitting, take out the printout of the application form and fee receipt and keep it safe.

Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha 2025: Bihar School Examination Committee Chairman Anand Kishore held a press conference in the auditorium of the committee on Saturday (April 26), in which he clarified the remaining three -phase points of STET and competence examination. Along with this, he dismissed false news about STET spreading on social media.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) president Anand Kishore said, “The date of STET has not been decided yet. The new date will be announced as soon as the instructions of the Education Department get. Students should avoid misleading news. The result of the STET exam conducted last year has been released a few days ago.”

Calendar of competence examinations released
The chairman of the committee, Anand Kishore, shared a detailed program of the remaining three phases of competence examination- 3, 4, 5. Earlier, 187818 in competence-1 and 65716 in competence-2 were successful.

Empowerment-3
The exam will be held between 10-15 May. The target is to release the results by 31 May. The unsuccessful candidates will be able to deposit fees for competence-4 by June 2-3. About 82 thousand employed teacher candidates have applied for this examination.

Communication-4
Application from 7-14 May, examination on 15-16 June, the result will be declared on June 30.

Empowerment-5
The candidates who failed in competence-4 will be able to take the exam on July 2-3 on July 2-3. The result will come by 31 July.

Anand Kishore told the students not to spread any rumor about the exam dates. Trust only through the official website or notice board. He also informed that the purpose of competence examinations is to check the qualifications of teachers. Therefore, this process is being kept completely transparent and clean.

Anand Kishore said, “Many of the query committee’s office related to STET are reaching the office. But this examination conducts the committee after the instructions of the Education Department.
