Voter adhikar yatra: Saturday (August 30) is the last day of the 16 -day long ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also arrived to participate in the visit of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. The journey started from Saran and the last stop is in Ara.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav said during the yatra that he hoped that the Election Commission would be fair and protect the Constitution. But he alleged that the Election Commission is working closely with the BJP. He said, “It seems that this is not the Election Commission but the BJP has made it ‘Jugaad Commission’.”

‘BJP’s migration will be’

Recalling the achievements of Tejashwi Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav said that where the youth used to migrate earlier, Tejashwi provided employment and job opportunities. He said that when Tejashwi Yadav is in power, there will be no migration of the unemployed but the migration of BJP.

Akhilesh lashed out at the BJP and said that America imposed a tariff on India, but BJP is not talking about this issue. He said, “Because America has imposed tariffs on traders, but has also done tariffs on BJP.”

Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi also targeted

Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav said that this government is ‘imitatory’, who only copies and who has no clear vision. He insisted that the grand alliance will work for equal development of all classes and people of the society and will move forward with the public.

On this occasion, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the revolution started from Bihar itself and this journey of vote rights is also started from Bihar and is heard across the country. He warned that this journey is not just for votes but for the protection of the rights and future of the public. Rahul Gandhi said, ‘In Bihar, we will not allow votes to be stolen at any cost. Votes were stolen in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Lok Sabha, but will not allow this to happen in Bihar.

The BJP targeted the opposition parties in Bihar on Thursday (August 28, 2025) and made serious allegations against them. The party claimed that this week during the Bihar election campaign, a very derogatory language was used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother Hiraben Modi. Posters of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav were put up in the program.

The BJP, posting on social media ‘X’, accused opposition leaders of falling low in politics. He said, ‘From the platform of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav’s visit, a very vulgar language was used for the late mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Such indecency has never been seen before in politics. This journey has crossed all limits of humiliation, hatred and levellessness.

‘Rahul and Tejashwi insult Biharis’

The BJP further wrote in the post, ‘Tejashwi and Rahul first invited leaders like Stalin and Revanth Reddy who insulted the people of Bihar and insulted the Biharis. Now the situation of his frustration is that he is abusing Prime Minister Modi’s heavenly mother.

The party further said, ‘Tejashwi and Rahul have used such dirty language from their platform that it is not possible to repeat it on the public platform. It is such a mistake that even if Rahul and Tejashwi hold their ear thousands of times and apologize even by sitting up, the people of Bihar will not forgive them.

Viral video on social media

A video is also being shared a lot on social media, in which Congress flags were waved and party workers on stage shouted at loudspeakers. A crowd is visible on the open platform, where a picture of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Tejashwi Yadav is engaged. However, ABP News does not confirm this video.

The dispute began when the Congress and RJD activists led by a local Congress leader Naushad used derogatory words against PM Modi and waved the party flags. However, the Congress has separated itself from the allegations of video and indecent language.

BJP leader accused opposition parties

The BJP has also refused to back down on these allegations. During a conversation with ANI, BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said, ‘Rahul Gandhi’s visit is failing, so for this he has started calling the Chief Ministers of many states. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin abused Biharis, what message do they want to give to the people of Bihar by calling them?

Targeting the opposition parties, Shahnawaz Hussain said, ‘Rahul Gandhi should apologize for the kind of language being used for the Prime Minister, the kind of abuses being given to the Prime Minister. The people of Bihar love PM Modi and the people will not accept the insult of Narendra Modi.
