In the opinion polls that came out in the last Bihar election, most of them were expected to form a Grand Alliance government, while in many, there was a thorn collision between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. In the opinion poll of Lokniti-CSDS, NDA was expected to get 38 percent votes for 38 percent, Grand Alliance, Upendra Kushwaha’s alliance, seven percent, Chirag Paswan’s LJP six per cent and others were expected to get 17 per cent votes.

If an average figure of four opinion polls is seen, where NDA can get 40-52 percent votes and 130 to 158 seats. According to the JVC opinion poll, the RJD-led grand alliance is likely to get 40 percent of the votes and 81-103 seats. Apart from this, Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj can get 10-11 percent votes and 4-6 seats. If we talk about the face for the post of Chief Minister, then Nitish Kumar has made its first choice. He has been voted for this by 27 percent of the people, while Tejashwi Yadav is in second place.

Rashtriya Janata Dal emerged as the largest party in Bihar’s assembly elections held in Bihar, RJD won 75 seats, while BJP got 74 seats, which was the second largest party. If Chief Minister Nitish Kumar talks about JDU, then he won 43 seats. Apart from this, Congress won 19, CPIML 12, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM, 4 to Jitan Ram Manjhi, 4 to Mukesh Sahni’s VIP, 4 to CPI, 2 to 2, 2 to 2, Mayawati’s party BSP 1, LJP 1, LJP 1 and Independent.

Assembly elections in Bihar are near and this time the Election Commission is fully resorting to technology. What is E-EPIC?

E-EPIC is a digital voter card that will be in a secure PDF format. It will have a special QR code which will include your information like the name of the voter, serial number, part number, date of birth, address and other basic information. You can show it in your mobile or computer and show it if needed anywhere. If you ever forget the physical voter card, then your work will also be done with E-EPIC. The purpose of making it is that for some time, it has been seen that fake voting, duplicate voter cards and misinformation cards cause great problems. To prevent this, the Election Commission is now issuing new and updated voter cards, it will have a new photo, updated information and this card will also be available in digital form.

If the voter card is not made yet, then apply

1. To make voter cards before Bihar election, first go to the NVSP website or the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar.

2. Register with mobile number and email ID or if you already have an account then login.

3. After this, select the option of New Registration for General Electors (Form-6).

4. Fill your complete information in the form, such as name, date of birth, gender, address and necessary documents.

5. After submitting the form, you will get a reference number, so that you can track the status online.

6. Your document and form will be examined through Booth Level Officer (BLO) in your area.

7. If all the information is found correct, your voter card will be ready and sent to your house.
