Fasale directly knew Swapnil Sakat, one of the four accused arrested earlier in the case of firing at Rohit Shetty’s house. He was introduced to Swapnil Sakat only through Lonkar. Fasale felt that if he joined the Bishnoi gang, he would have a lot of influence in his area. Some people in his close circle were aware of Fasle’s work for the Bishnoi gang. It was on Lonkar’s instructions that Fasale handed over weapons to Swapnil Sakat and Sakat later sent the same weapons to the unknown shooter for firing.
