Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday (10 April 2026) has issued a resolution for Bengal, which the party has named as Affidavit of Trust. Releasing the resolution letter, Amit Shah said that it is a document of trust for the people of West Bengal and important promises related to the public have been included in it. Amit Shah said that the resolution letter will show a new path to the people. Will give courage to unemployed youth and women suffering from fear. This will give new hope and confidence to the people. This letter will also show the road map of PM Narendra Modi’s developed India and will show people the way out of despair.

While releasing the resolution letter, BJP accused the Chief Minister of Bengal and said that the state government led by Mamata Banerjee is working in an atmosphere of fear.

Big points of BJP’s resolution letter

While issuing the resolution letter, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that if the government is formed in Bengal, BJP will take a strict stance on the issue of infiltration and will work on the policy of zero tolerance. Under this, action will be taken to identify the infiltrators, remove their names and send them back. That means Detect, Delete and Deport.

• Amit Shah said that dearness allowance i.e. DA will be ensured for all the government pensioners of the state.
• The Seventh Pay Commission will be implemented within 45 days of government formation.
• Amit Shah said that after the formation of our government, Rs 3,000 will be given every month in the bank accounts of women, so that they can get financial support.
• Ayushman Yojana will be implemented in West Bengal, which will provide relief to people in treatment.
• Within six months of the formation of the government, work will be done towards implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state.
• Unemployed youth will be given an allowance of Rs 3,000 every month, so that they can get financial help till they get employment.
• The borders of Bengal will be sealed to stop cow smuggling.
• A target was set to make 75 lakh women Lakhpati Didi.
• Pregnant women will be given financial assistance of Rs 21 thousand.
• Women will travel free in state buses.

Big statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah

Before the West Bengal elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a big statement on behalf of the party. He said that the people of Bengal now want change from their heart and the feeling of change is clearly visible in the state. Amit Shah said that in the last 10 years, BJP has played the role of a strong and responsible opposition. He also said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an example of corruption-free governance has been set in the country, which has increased people’s confidence. He further said that India, which was earlier considered behind in many matters, has today emerged as a strong and progressive country in front of the world under the leadership of Modi government.

Chargesheet before the people of Bengal- Amit Shah

Amit Shah also told that BJP had already presented a charge sheet before the people of Bengal, in which it was expressed about the disappointment with the government of the last 15 years. Now the party’s resolution letter will become a symbol of people’s trust and in it a complete roadmap has been given to bring the state out of despair.

BJP’s work for the development of Kolkata

BJP has also presented a big plan for the development of Kolkata. The aim of the party is to make Kolkata a world class city. For this, the metro network will be completely expanded, a time-bound program will be run to strengthen bridges and ports, especially Haldia Port, will be developed on a large scale. New policies will be introduced to make business easier and it has been promised to eliminate the syndicate system.

Schemes for farmers

Schemes have also been made for the farmers, so that the farmers cultivating potatoes, paddy and mango do not face any kind of problem. Steps will also be taken to strengthen the tea industry and refurbish tea gardens. With special emphasis on the development of North Bengal, it has been talked about opening big institutes like IIT, AIIMS, IIM and Fashion Design there. Apart from this, there is a plan to preserve and promote the culture of Bengal through Vande Mataram Museum and Vande Mataram Mission.

BJP’s goal regarding law and order

Regarding law and order, BJP has said that a white paper will be brought on the entire tenure of the TMC government. In this, corruption, political violence and law and order situation will be put forward. A commission will be formed under the leadership of a retired judge to investigate political violence. BJP accused Mamata Banerjee government that fear, discrimination and corruption have increased under her rule. The party also said that the country has been strengthened under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bengal will also be taken forward on the same model. Overall, BJP has intensified the electoral contest by promising development, security, employment and better governance through its manifesto.
