Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal, BJP MLA from Faridpur assembly seat in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, died of a heart attack on Friday (January 2, 2026). The BJP MLA was taken to a private hospital when his health deteriorated at Circuit House, where doctors declared Shyam Bihari dead. Shyam Bihari was MLA from Faridpur assembly seat twice. He had celebrated his birthday with his workers a day earlier.

According to the information, Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal was present at the Circuit House in Bareilly on Friday afternoon. During this time, his health suddenly deteriorated and he complained of severe chest pain. There was chaos among the officers and colleagues present at the spot. He was immediately taken to the city’s Medicity private hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.

It is being told that at that time a meeting of Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh regarding SIR was going on in the Circuit House. It was during this meeting that Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal suffered unbearable chest pain. Seeing his condition becoming serious, he was immediately taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved.
