A sensational case related to religious conversion and exploitation has come to light in Bhopal. Which has shaken the entire city. It is alleged that two sisters named Amreen and Afreen had together formed an organized gang, which used to trap girls from poor families by luring them with jobs and help. After this, they were blackmailed and forced to undergo mental, physical abuse and forced religious conversion.

On the complaint of two victim women, Bagh Sevaniya police station has registered a serious case of rape and religious conversion against five people including a woman. Police have arrested four accused including Amreen Khan alias Mahira, Afreen and Chandan Yadav. While the search for other accused is going on. This matter has put both the administration and the society under deep concern.

what is the whole matter

According to the information, the victim’s husband has passed away and she has two children. She used to work as a VIP waiter in a catering service. The victim told that in 2023, she met Amreen alias Mahira in a mall. Amreen kept the girl at his house in Ashoka Garden on the pretext of getting the job of taking care of the girl for Rs 10,000 per month. Later it came to be called Sagar Royal Villa house. Here Amrin lived with her boyfriend Chandan.

The victim was being pressurized to convert to religion.

Also, in December 2024, she was taken to Chandan’s sister’s house in Narayan Nagar and raped after mixing intoxicants in tea. When the woman protested, she was threatened with defamation. The victim has alleged that the accused tried to convert her religion. She was pressurized to offer namaz and wear burqa. Assistant Police Commissioner Gautam Solanki says that the victim’s complaint is being investigated.
