Ashish Vidyarthi said in the interview of Siddharth Kanan, ‘Shammi ji had told me one thing many years ago. I was doing a show called Dastan and he came with the producer for the shoot of Chattan. One day he suddenly taught me and said that the people of the industry will break your bubble. When my stardom was going to end, people used to come to me and used to say what happened, now where is the crowd these days? So I used to tell them that now the crowd is outside Ashirwad (Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow).

By the end of the 50s, Bharat Bhushan was submerged in debt and his stardom was over. He sold the bungalow and it was broken. After which it came to be called cursed.

Rajendra Kumar bought a bungalow

After selling the house after Bharat Bhushan, Rajendra Kumar came to know about this ghost bungalow located on Carter Road. Given that they were meeting cheaply at such a place. Rajendra Kumar bought it and named it after his daughter Dimple. Rajendra Kumar was advised by his friend Manoj Kumar to get the puja done. After that he got the puja done. Like Bharat Bhushan, Rajendra Kumar’s career also went on peak for some time. But after that he fell so that he drowned in debt.
