Whenever we go to bed during the winter season, we cover our entire body from mouth to feet with a quilt or blanket. Also, close the room completely and turn on the heater, so that any kind of cold does not reach you. But if your feet remain cold even after being covered in a quilt and the heater running, then it is a matter of concern.

If you are wearing warm socks on your feet and still your feet are cold, then it can be a sign of many diseases, ignoring which can prove dangerous. Through this article we will tell you what problems you may have to face.

weak blood circulation

If your feet remain cold even after wearing a quilt or warm socks in winter, then the reason could be blood circulation. When blood does not reach the veins of the legs properly, heat is not generated in that area. For this reason the feet remain cool. If the blood circulation in the legs is not good, then there may be complaints like numbness, pain and heaviness, which are dangerous for the body.

increase in bad cholesterol

Due to increase in the amount of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood, feet may remain cold despite protection from cold. This happens because cholesterol starts accumulating in the veins, due to which blood circulation slows down. The most dangerous thing is that information about this is not available quickly. When the veins become excessively blocked, symptoms of the disease appear. If bad cholesterol has increased in the body, then the risk of heart related diseases also increases.

effect of diabetes

The veins in the legs of patients suffering from diabetes become weak. Due to this the blood vessels become hard and narrow. These veins shrink further in cold weather. When adequate blood circulation does not reach the feet, the problem of cold feet begins.

Hemoglobin deficiency and anemia

If the amount of hemoglobin in the blood decreases, the risk of diseases like anemia increases. This can be dangerous for health. When there is lack of blood in the body, the body is not able to produce adequate amount of heat. Due to anemia, the body remains cold and problems like weakness, numbness in hands and legs can also occur.

Often we consider feet only as a means of walking, but these feet can also indicate symptoms of many serious diseases related to your health. In fact, small changes in the feet often point towards heart, nerves, sugar and neurological problems. Which most people ignore. In such a situation, let us tell you today how your feet tell everything about your health, which 99 percent people often ignore.

Red rashes on feet, a sign of heart disease

If painless red rashes appear on the soles of the feet or painful lumps form on the ends of the fingers, it may be a sign of heart infection or endocarditis. This is a bacterial infection, which can affect the heart valves. If treatment is not done in time, it can become more dangerous.

Numbness or tingling warning of nerve damage

Many times, sitting in the wrong position causes the legs to become numb, but if this problem occurs repeatedly or without any reason, then it could be a problem related to nerves. It can also be a sign of nerve compression, peripheral neuropathy, Raynaud’s disease or spinal cord problems.

Non-healing wounds of feet, risk of diabetes

If blisters or wounds on the feet are not healing for a long time, then it can be a major sign of diabetes. High blood sugar harms blood circulation, which makes wound healing difficult and increases the risk of infection. This problem can also indicate weakness of nerves or diseases related to arteries.

Burning sensation in legs, nerve damage

If you feel severe burning sensation in your feet, do not ignore it as just fatigue or heat. This could be a sign of skin infection or nerve damage. Excessive alcohol habit, kidney disease, some medicines or other dangerous reasons can also be behind this.

thumb lift, neurological problem

If the toe of your foot rises upward when it touches the sole, it is called Babinski sign. This is considered normal in children, but in adults it may be a sign of disease related to the brain or spinal cord.

itching and skin peeling

Persistent itching or peeling of the skin in the feet is often considered a fungal infection. But this lack of water in the body can also be a sign of thyroid related problems. Along with this, problems like weight gain, numbness or weak eyesight can also be seen.

changing nail color

If dark spots or lines are seen under the toenails that do not progress with time, it could be a sign of skin cancer. At the same time, yellowing of nails can also be due to fungal infection, chemicals in nail polish or ageing.

Read this also – The risk of diabetes is increasing during pregnancy, diabetes screening is mandatory in the first antenatal visit itself, know why it is necessary?

We all hear a whirring or “whoosh-whoosh” sound in our ears often or occasionally. This sound does not happen always, but when the surrounding environment is calm or there is peace in the place where we are present, then such a sound is heard in the ears. This sound is different from those sounds which we hear after water gets into the ears or after listening to very loud noise. For this reason, people are more troubled by this rustling or “whoosh-whoosh” sound. According to doctors, this sound can be a sign of serious danger to our health and body. Doctors have found that the main reason for these sounds could be a sign of some problem or disease related to blood circulation in the body or brain.

Relation of sound in ears with brain and blood circulation

When doctors investigated this sound in depth, they came to know that the sound you hear in the ear is actually related to the blood flowing in the blood veins and the functioning of the brain, which people often mistake for a problem of the ears. Fast or abnormal flow of blood in the veins can be the root of this problem.

What is Pulsatile Tinnitus?

If you hear rushing, whooshing, dhak-dhak or “whoosh-whoosh” sounds in your ears, you may have a problem called pulsatile tinnitus, in which a person hears a sound in the ears that is exactly like the heartbeat. This sound is not like a whistle like normal tinnitus, but is different from it and this sound is heard more clearly by the person when there is a quiet environment around or the person is lying down.

Major cause of pulsatile tinnitus

A major cause of pulsatile tinnitus occurs when plaque, which we also call dirty matter, starts accumulating inside the nerves of the ear or neck. Due to this the veins become thin and blood does not flow properly. In such a situation, the sound of bleeding can reach the ears. This process is called atherosclerosis.

Pulsatile tinnitus mostly occurs when there is a disturbance in the nerves around the ears or neck. When these veins are unable to bleed normally, the sound of bleeding starts reaching the ears. For this reason a person hears a sound like heartbeat.

When blood pressure in the body becomes high or higher than normal, the problem of pulsatile tinnitus may occur because when blood flows rapidly through the carotid artery in the neck, its flow can become turbulent. Due to this turmoil, a sound like heartbeat starts reaching the ears.

One reason for hearing sounds like rushing, whooshing, dhak-dhak or “whoosh-whoosh” in the ears could be that some kind of change is taking place in the tissue around the nerves of the body. In such a situation, the speed of blood flow changes and sometimes such sounds are produced which we can hear inside the ears.

In today’s busy lifestyle, ordering food from outside or packing food in plastic boxes outside the office has become common. Be it a party, office meeting or guests at home, tiffin or food delivery from restaurants has now become a part of your lifestyle everywhere. Most hotels and restaurants serve food packed in plastic boxes. These containers look clean and convenient, but do you know that the hot food kept in them can gradually harm your health.

According to a study, food packed or heated in plastic containers can increase the risk of serious problems like cancer, hormonal imbalance and even heart failure. In such a situation, let us now tell you whether packing food in plastic boxes can actually cause cancer?

How do plastic boxes increase the risk?

Harmful chemicals like bisphenol-A and phthalates are found in plastic containers. These are chemicals that spoil the hormonal system of the body. When greasy food is kept in these containers, these chemicals dissolve in the food. Later, gradually these can accumulate in the body and cause cancer, hormonal disturbances and reproductive problems. Apart from this, packing hot food in plastic boxes can also be very dangerous. By doing this also, chemicals like bisphenol-A and phthalates present in plastic get mixed into the food. These chemicals act as endocrine disruptors in the body, which cause hormonal imbalance. Packing hot food in plastic boxes for a long time can cause problems like diabetes, thyroid and even PCOD.

Risk of heart failure may also increase

A study has revealed that eating food packed in plastic boxes also increases the risk of congestive heart failure. According to research, plastic chemicals harm the microbiome of the stomach, which increases inflammation in the body and affects the circulatory system. This swelling can later cause heart failure. Apart from this, many small restaurants or delivery services use cheap and poor quality containers. These do not contain food grade material and hence the chemicals leaking from the containers can become the cause of many dangerous diseases in the body. In fact, eating food in plastic containers increases the risk of cancer, especially breast, prostate and colon cancer. Apart from this, the risk of thyroid and hormonal imbalance also increases. At the same time, eating food in plastic containers can also cause problems like infertility, liver, kidney and metabolic disorders.

How can we protect ourselves?

,While ordering food from outside the office, make sure to ask the restaurant to pack the food in food grade containers or aluminum foil.
,Apart from this, if the food comes in a plastic box, then immediately take it out in a glass or steel vessel.
,Keep in mind that never keep food in a plastic box and heat it in the microwave.
,At the same time, do not reuse single-use plastic boxes again and again.

Mild cold has started in the entire country. Along with rain and drop in temperature, cold winds have intensified the feeling of winter. The effect of this cold is not only visible on the outside weather but also on the body. As soon as the cold starts, many people’s hands and legs start shrinking, problems like swelling and itching in the fingers increase.

Experts say that cold affects the blood circulation of the body, due to which this problem is seen. The special thing is that this problem is found more in women. In such a situation, let us tell you today why fingers and toes swell as soon as the cold starts and what is this problem.

Why do fingers swell in cold?

According to health experts, when the cold increases, the veins of the body start shrinking. Due to this, blood circulation slows down and blood clots start forming, due to which the fingers and toes turn red and blue. In fact, if you stay in cold temperature for a long time, your fingers start swelling and itching. After which this swelling gradually increases and takes the form of pain, due to which even daily tasks start becoming difficult.

Women face this problem more

According to doctors, the problem of swollen fingers is more common in women during winter compared to men. The reason for this is that women spend the whole day in kitchen and water related work. At the same time, due to continuous contact with cold water, the skin of the hands shrinks and the blood flow is affected, due to which the complaints of swelling and itching increase.

What to do if fingers swell?

If you also start swelling in your fingers during cold weather, then there is no need to panic. To reduce swelling of fingers, first of all cover your hands and feet with warm clothes and do not suddenly heat your hands near a heater or fire. By doing this the problem may increase further. By gradually normalizing the body temperature, this problem automatically reduces. However, some doctors also say that swelling of hands and feet in cold weather should not be taken lightly. This problem seems minor initially, but if careless, it can turn into a serious problem. In many cases, it even comes to the point of operation. In such a situation, if swelling or pain starts increasing in your hands and legs, then contact the doctor immediately.

Cardiac emergency: In today’s fast pace, people often ignore mild pain or cough. But if there is a problem of persistent pain in the back and frequent cough, then it can also be more serious signs than normal fatigue or seasonal problems. Many times these symptoms also point towards cardiac emergency. In such a situation, it is necessary to take care in time. Let us tell you in detail about it.

Why can there be dangerous signs of back pain and cough?

Heart related problems – The body warns if there is a disturbance in blockage or blood circulation in the arteries of the heart. Some patients have back pain instead of chest.

Danger of heart failure -Frequent cough, especially when lying at night, may be a symptom of heart failure. This happens when the heart is unable to pump blood properly to the lungs.

Pressure on lungs – If the heart does not function properly, then fluid can accumulate in the lungs, which causes cough and breathing.

Blood pressure and diabetes – These symptoms can be even more dangerous in people struggling with these diseases.

What symptoms should not be ignored?

Persistent back pain

Repeated or night cough

Fatigue while breathing or climbing stairs

Mild pressure in the chest

Swelling

If these symptoms appear together, the doctor should be contacted immediately.

What is cardiac emergency?

Cardiac emergency is the situation when the heart suddenly stops working properly or stops blood supply. In this, the patient needs medical help immediately. It can also prove to be fatal when it is late.

What to do and how to avoid?

Get regular checkup – Keep checking blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol.

Improve lifestyle – Take a balanced diet, exercise and get enough sleep.

Smoking and distance from alcohol – These habits are harmful for both heart and lungs.

Do not take cough or pain lightly – If the problem persists for a long time, then immediately consult a specialist.

Remember emergency helpline Suddenly, if there is severe pain in the chest or back and difficulty in breathing, then reach the hospital near without delay.

It can be dangerous to ignore back pain and frequent cough as a minor problem. This is sometimes an initial sign of cardiac emergency. Identification and correct treatment on time not only keeps the health of the heart safe, but can also be saved. So be cautious and contact the doctor as soon as you see the symptoms.
