In Taiwan, a female football coach has been accused of serious allegations that she forced the students to give blood more than 200 times in exchange for graduation credits. This sensational case has spread outrage across the country.

Student revealed
A student of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) ‘Jian’ told on social media that coach Zhou Tai-Ying forced him to give blood three times a day. Blood was taken from 5 am to 9 pm. Gian said, ‘After the eighth day, there were no veins in my arms. Attempted on the wrist, the pain was unbearable. Can remove blood only after failing six times. She also posted a video of it in which she is seen crying.

Other students also came in front
Another student told that he had to leave his studies after getting fed up with the misconduct of the coach. He said that she could never tell her father the truth and now she is not in this world. ‘Maybe I can forgive in the next life.’

Coach was removed, apologizes
After the incident came to light, the university announced on July 13 that Jhou was dismissed from her administrative and coaching positions and was banned from leading any sports team. An apology was also written from Jhou. He wrote, ‘I heartily apologize for the loss of the reputation of those students, teachers and university. I have deep regrets for the emotional trauma of students and I apologize to all of you. However, this announcement and apology were later removed from the university’s social media page.

University and Education Department in the circle of questions
The local education department has ordered corrective action to the university. But people say that it is not enough to remove only the coach. Many people are asking- ‘After all, who was benefiting from blood donation?’

Blood donation is a great task, which saves many lives. However, some people complain like giving blood or immediately after, feeling lightness or fainting. This is a common problem and is usually not a major cause of concern. This can happen due to some common responses of the body. Let’s know the reasons behind this and ways to avoid it.

 The main cause of dizziness

There can be many physical and mental reasons behind dizziness during blood donation:

 A sudden decline in blood pressure: This is one of the most common reasons. When about half a liter of blood is extracted from your body, the total amount of blood in the body is reduced for some time. This can cause blood pressure to fall suddenly. Due to lack of enough blood and oxygen to the brain, you may feel dizzy or feel lightning.

 reaction to nervousness or stress (Veso-Vaigal Reaction): This is a common physical reaction that can be caused by stress, nervousness, or pain. Seeing blood or needle, some people feel fear or anxiety. Due to this mental response, your venue vein gets stimulated, which slows the heartbeat and wide the veins of blood. As a result, both blood pressure and heartbeat fall, which reduces blood flow to the brain and you may get dizzy or you may also be unconscious.

 Dehydration in the body: If you do not drink enough water or other fluids before blood donation, then your body can be already less water. A large part of blood is water. In such a situation, when you give blood, there is further deficiency of fluid in the body, due to which blood pressure can fall even further.

 rapid rise: immediately after blood donation, standing or moving quickly can also cause a sudden change in blood pressure, which can cause dizziness. The body needs some time to coordinate with the amount of new blood.

 How to avoid dizziness and what to do?

Some easy steps can be taken to reduce the possibility of dizziness:

 Drink plenty of water before donating blood: Eat plenty of water and other fluids (such as juice) 24 hours before blood donation. Drink good amount of water on the day of blood donation.

 Eat nutritious food: Eat a healthy and balanced diet before blood donation. Do not go on an empty stomach at all. Include iron -rich things (eg green leafy vegetables, pulses, dry fruits) in your food.

 Stay calm: If you are afraid of needles or blood, close your eyes during blood donation, take deep breaths, or try to focus on something. The staff of the blood donor center can also help you.

 Relax after blood donation: After giving blood, lie down on the chair for at least 10-15 minutes. Do not try to get up immediately.

 Take a light breakfast: After blood donation, take juice and biscuits or any light snack found at the center. This will help normalize your blood sugar and fluid levels.

 wake slowly: When you are asked to get up, get up slowly and stand near the chair for some time, then start walking.

World blood donor day 2025: World Blood Donar Day was started in the year 2004 by World Health Organization (WHO), International Red Cross Society, ISBT and many organizations together. The day of June 14 was chosen to celebrate this day, because on this day it is the birthday of the great scientist Dr. Carl Landsteiner. On this day, many people donate their blood to save the lives of other people.

You people must have heard many times and must have read that blood donation is a great donation. Donating blood to any person in India is considered to be the biggest donation. We can save the life of any needy by donating our blood. Let us now know on this occasion that people of which countries donate the most blood.

People of these countries donate the most blood

Based on the available information, it is difficult to determine the most blood donation country, as blood donation figures per country can be based on various parameters such as collected blood volume, charity rate, or per capita blood donation. However, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and sources, the rate of blood donation in some countries is significantly higher, especially in developed countries where the blood donation system is well organized.

Austria and Germany: According to some sources, in countries like Austria and Germany, the rate of blood donation per 1,000 people is higher. About 60-70 units of blood per 1,000 people are donated in Austria, which is much higher than the global average.

United States: The amount of blood donation in the US is very high, because the population there is large and blood donation campaign is widely run. Organizations such as American Red Cross collect millions of units of blood annually.

India: The awareness of blood donation in India is increasing, but the rate of blood donation per capita is still low. According to WHO, about 10–12 units of blood per 1,000 people in India are donated, which is less than the global average (about 15–20 units per 1,000).

81 million units of blood are collected every year globally

Voluntary blood donation: According to the 2006 data of WHO, only 49 of the 124 countries had the standard of voluntary, non-paying blood donation. The culture of voluntary blood donation in developed countries such as United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia is strong. WHO estimates that about 81 million units of blood are collected globally.

The rate of blood donation is higher in high -income countries, as there is a better system of organized blood banks and awareness campaigns. In developing countries, such as Ghana, replacement donation (when families or friends donate blood) are common, which reduces the rate of voluntary donation.

Let us know that every two seconds in the world need some blood. Only 1 percent of the population in India donates blood, while the World Health Organization recommends blood donation rate between 1 percent to 3 percent of the population. Please tell that by donating one unit of blood, we can save the lives of three people. It takes about 24 to 48 hours for the body to compensate for lost blood after donations.

Rate of blood donation is increasing in India

In the absence of accurate data, countries such as Austria, Germany, and the United States can be considered a leader in blood donation, especially based on per capita donation and organized system. The rate of blood donation in India is increasing, but it needs to be further increased. The latest reports of WHO or National Blood Transfusion Council (India) may be helpful for more information.

Blood donation is called Mahadan, because it saves the lives of countless people. This is the reason that World Blood Donor Day is celebrated on 14 June every year in the whole world. Have you ever thought how many units a person can donate blood at a time? Does it have any limit then why is it fixed? & Nbsp;

 how much blood can be blooded at once?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and various blood banks, a healthy person can donate 450 ml (about half a liter or a pint) at a time. This is usually called a unit. This quantity is considered standard at global level. However, there may be a little difference in some countries. & Nbsp;

 In which country how much blood donating rules?

450 ml in Canada means about 2 cups, then a unit in America means 460-500 ml. At the same time, there is a standard of donating 350-450 ml of blood in India, which depends on the weight and health of the donor. 200 to 450 ml of blood can be donated in Japan and Singapore, which is fixed on the basis of the weight of the donor. Apart from this, 5-10 ml of extra blood testing can be taken during blood donate. This quantity is only 8-10 % of the total blood (about 5-6 liters) present in the body of a healthy adult, which is considered safe.

 Why can only one unit of blood to blood?

According to experts, it is considered safe to donate a unit (450-500 ml) blood at a time, because there is no serious effect on the donor’s health. Actually, a normal adult has 4.5 to 6 liters of blood in the body, which can vary according to age, gender and weight. Donating a unit of blood is temporarily low in the body, but this decrease is completed with plasma and fluid in 24-48 hours. At the same time, red blood cells (RBC) takes 4-6 weeks in regeneration.

 What is the danger of donating more blood?

Many research has revealed that removing more than 15 % at a time can be dangerous, because it can cause symptoms like class 2 bleeding. This can cause dizziness, weakness or unconsciousness. & Nbsp;
