Boeing shares: After the Air India accident in Ahmedabad, on June 13, the shares of the Boeing company were under pressure in the early trade in the US. In pre-market trading, the company’s shares declined by 1.5 percent. At the same time, Boeing shares fell by 5 percent in the New York Stock Exchange, while the stocks fell below 8 percent on Thursday a day before.

More than 260 deaths in accident

On Thursday afternoon, after the crash of 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft of Air India going from London to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, investors’ confidence in the company’s shares seems to be decreasing. In this accident, more than 260 people have died due to the collision of aircraft in the residential area including passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft.

So much decline in stocks

At the same time, GE aerospace shares, which supplied the engine for Dreamliner, also fell more than 2 percent in pre-market trade. This Wide-Body Workers aircraft of Boeing crashed at the BJ Medical College Campus, a few minutes after flying from Ahmedabad on June 12. At the time of the accident, 169 Indians, 53 British, 7 Portuguese and 1 Canadian citizens were present in the aircraft. This aircraft was about 12 years old and is the first event of the aircraft being completely destroyed in the history of Boeing 787.

On Thursday, Boeing shares fell nearly 5 percent to close at $ 203.75 and on Friday, 1.5 percent in pre-market trade and fell to $ 200.54 to $ 200.54. Boeing is already under investigation and now after this accident, the focus of the people on the safety record of Boeing has again gone. Between 2019 and 2020, 737 Max aircraft of Boeing were grounded after two accidents. 737 Max resumed its service in India in November 2021.

Boeing shares: Air India flight A1171 crashed today after taking off from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick. After this news came, the shares of the plane -making company Boeing declined by 8 percent in premarket trading in the US on Thursday.

First crash in Boeing’s 15 -year history

There were 242 passengers and crew members in the aircraft. Of these, 169 Indians, 53 British, 1 Canadian and 7 Portuguese citizens were included. A few minutes after flying from Ahmedabad, the aircraft crashed. The aviation tracking site Flightradar24 said that this air India’s airport was 787 Dreamliner, which is a modern aircraft.
Former Chief Minister of Gujarat also joins passengers

The accident occurred in Meghaninagar area near Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The name of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is also included in the list of passengers of the crashed aircraft. It is still not known what has been the reason for the accident. Boeing said in a statement that he got the news of it. He is trying to gather more information. Here, Air India has arranged helpline number 18005691444 to help the families of the passengers.

Many airlines use this model

According to the Aviation Safety Network Database, this is the first accident related to the Boeing 787 aircraft. However, in 2013, its electrical power system led to a fire in the lithium-ion battery, after which it was stopped from being taken off. Many other airline operators like British Airways, United Airways and Qatar Airways use this model.

In recent years, many accidents related to Boeing Plane have come to light, such as 189 passengers died in the Lion Air accident in the year 2018. Boeing 737 Max was used in it. In 2019, Ethiopian Airlines flight 302 crashed, killing 157 people. 737 Max aircraft were also used in this. After these incidents, the operations of the entire Boeing 737 Max were banned.

Us-china trade war: America-China trade war is deepening every passing day. The big companies of both countries are suffering the brunt of Xi Jinping and Donald Trump’s enmity. Recently, a tough decision of China has once again put America’s plane manufacturer Boeing in trouble.

In fact, China has instructed its airlines not to take new aircraft from Boeing, causing a huge decline in the company’s shares on Tuesday. It is believed that this decision has been taken due to the US-China Trade War.

What is the whole matter?

According to a report, China has stopped its airlines from taking delivery of any new aircraft in Boeing. There was no official statement from China, but the report of Bloomberg has given air to this news.

Why does Boeing feel a shock?

Boeing is the largest exporting company in the US and employs around 150,000 American employees. But the company has been struggling for the last 6 years and the company has faced a loss of $ 51 billion since 2018. The special thing is that two-thirds aircraft of the company are sold to international customers, the largest market is China.

Boeing estimates that China will need about 8,830 new aircraft in the next 20 years, but after this decision, Boeing may suffer a lot from this market.

What is the only trade war?

Boeing’s problem is not just due to business stresses. The company had to ground its best -selling aircraft 737 Max after two deadly accidents in 2018 and 2019. Due to this, China did not allow these aircraft to return to service for a long time, while other countries brought them back to flight in 2020.

Why is delivery necessary for Boeing?

Boeing gets a large share in payment only after delivery of the aircraft. That is, till the delivery is not done, there will be no earning. According to the company, by the end of 2024 it has 55 aircraft in stocks, most of which were for the customers of China and India, but now it has become a burden on the stock company due to stopping delivery.

New battle of trade war

After US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs up to 145 per cent on Chinese products, China also retaliated and taxed US products up to 125 per cent. Their sales in China have almost become impossible due to so much tax on Boeing’s expensive aircraft. According to a CNN report, in 2017 and 2018, Boeing took orders for 122 aircraft from China, while in the last 6 years it has received only 28 orders, that too most of the freight aircraft.
