Ashish Sharma wrote in his Instagram post, ‘It is a strange time in which we are living… We grow up watching someone, sing their songs, feel their presence on the screen and then start judging them after watching a reel of a few seconds. I have had the opportunity to work with Rahul Roy Sir and I can say with all honesty that the experience of working with him has been very genuine and professional. He used to come to the set with complete preparation and did all his work honestly.

He further wrote, ‘We did not cast him out of sympathy, but because he was right for the character and he played it perfectly. Yes, he has definitely faced difficulties in life, but the dignity with which he works, his willingness to do new things, deserves respect, not ridicule. Working is no small matter. Standing by your work is not ‘cringe’, but there is truth in it. Full respect to Rahul Sir. He will always have support from our side and hope to work together in future also.
