Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav spoke openly in his latest interview about the current state of Bhojpuri cinema after Covid and Demonetisation. He told that both these events changed the direction of the industry, theaters were closed, production houses had to face financial crisis, and the taste of the audience also changed. But Khesari believes this struggle made the industry stronger “Now we are focusing more on quality and content,” he said. The actor also highlighted how OTT platforms have given Bhojpuri cinema a new identity and global reach. He also talked about his upcoming projects which are based on modern storytelling and social messages. Khesari believes that “Bhojpuri cinema is now moving forward with new thinking.
