Bomb making factory in Faridabad

According to sources, both of them used to make bombs together in a factory in Faridabad. The warehouse of ammonium nitrate for making bombs was also in Faridabad. According to the investigating agencies, Dr. Umar Mohammad was the mastermind of the conspiracy in Faridabad Hospital. While living there, he had included many Kashmiri youth with him. One of his friends is still missing. Investigation revealed that he had gone on a foreign tour. Police have detained Umar’s parents and two brothers.

Delhi blast could be suicide attack

Dr. Omar Mohammed’s conspiracy came to light on October 30 when Jammu and Kashmir Police took Muzammil into custody. Dr. Umar had not come to Delhi to carry out the blast, rather the situation had become such that he was afraid of being caught. He had carried out the blast himself, which means it was a suicide attack or an accidental blast. However, the investigating agencies have not yet confirmed this.

Delhi blast investigation handed over to NIA

Meanwhile, the Home Ministry has handed over the investigation of the blast near Red Fort in Delhi to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). NIA is now taking action to fully investigate the blast, trace the network of suspects and arrest those responsible.

Regarding this, a search operation was conducted in Al Falah University, Faridabad. The name of Dr. Parvez Ansari, associated with Integral University of Lucknow, came up in the case related to the terrorist module of Faridabad. During investigation, a sticker of Integral University was found on Parvez Ansari’s car.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired two review meetings on Tuesday to take stock of the security situation in the national capital and other parts of the country in the wake of the blast near the Red Fort. Amit Shah held a meeting in the morning and chaired another meeting in the afternoon. He said that instructions have been given to arrest each and every culprit behind this incident.

‘Each culprit will have to face consequences’

Home Secretary, NIA DG and officials of investigating agencies were present in this meeting. The Home Ministry has handed over the responsibility of investigating this blast to NIA. The Union Home Minister warned that every criminal will be brought to justice. He said, “In the review meeting with senior officials, instructions were given to search for the culprits. All those involved in this act will be given the harshest punishment.”

Amit Shah’s meeting with top officials

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat also participated in this meeting through online medium. During the meeting, top officials gave information on the situation after the blast. The Home Ministry has also handed over the investigation of the blast to the NIA. This is a clear indication that the government has considered this blast as a terrorist act, because NIA has the authority to investigate only terrorist cases.

The death toll in this blast has increased to 12. The Home Minister has said that top investigating agencies are investigating the blast and they will get to the bottom of the incident. Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong also expressed condolences to the victims of the blast near Red Fort metro station. The US State Department said on the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi that it is monitoring the situation and is ready to provide help if needed. The US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asia Affairs wrote on Twitter, “This incident is tragic. Our thoughts are with those who have lost their family members. Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal have also expressed grief over the explosion in Delhi. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumar Dissanayake said, “Deeply saddened by the news of the explosion in Delhi. Sri Lanka stands in solidarity with the people of India. Our thoughts are with all those affected.

Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu said he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the blast. “We express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wish speedy recovery to the injured.
