Bombay High Court has announced big recruitment for the year 2025, which is a great government job opportunity for the youth of Maharashtra. Under this recruitment, a total of 2,381 vacancies have been released for posts like clerk, peon, driver and stenographer. This recruitment is being done for the main bench in Bombay as well as Nagpur and Aurangabad benches. Total posts details and eligibility

In this recruitment, different educational and skill qualifications have been fixed for different posts. For Clerk 1,382 posts, graduation from a recognized university and knowledge of typing is required, for Peon 887 posts, ability to read and write Marathi language, for Driver 37 posts, 10th pass and driving license of Light Motor Vehicle (LMV), as well as at least 3 years of driving experience is required. After this, there are 56 posts in Stenographer (Lower Grade) and 19 posts in Stenographer (Higher Grade). The minimum age in this recruitment is 18 years and maximum age is 38 years. Apart from this, the last date for calculating age is 5 January 2026. As per government rules, age relaxation will be given to reserved categories.

The actor has demanded from the court that his photos are being used without permission on gambling sites, business sites and many other wrong places, in such a situation, he should be given protection of personality rights.

Sunil Shetty’s lawyer, Senior Advocate Birendra Saraf said that Sunil Shetty is a big name in the film industry and his pictures, videos and deepfake content are being used by different business sites without his permission.

More pictures and videos are being used to advertise the products and increase sales, making it appear that Shetty is associated with these brands or services, whereas in reality he has nothing to do with those brands. This sends a wrong message to the audience regarding the actor’s image.

What is Sunil’s demand?
Deepfake photos are also mentioned in the petition filed by Sunil Shetty. It was told in the petition that recently his privacy was violated by posting fake photos of him and his granddaughter Evara on the sites.

Let us tell you that Evara is the daughter of actor Athiya, whom she gave birth to on 24 March 2025. In the petition, action has been demanded on behalf of Sunil Shetty against the websites. Demand to remove the song ‘Bhai Vikal Hai’

The petition filed through advocate Chandrakant Gaikwad on behalf of the Association for Edging Justice demanded a ban on the film’s release and the removal of the song ‘Bhai Vikal Hai’. It was claimed that it is derogatory for the legal profession.

The victim families of Malegaon Blast Case 2008 have moved the Bombay High Court against the Special Court verdict on Tuesday (9 September). On 31 July 2025, the Special Court acquitted BJP leader Pragya Thakur, Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Purohit and five others. The victim families have now approached the High Court against this decision. Nisar Ahem Syed Bilal and five others filed an appeal through advocate Matin Sheikh and have appealed to the High Court to cancel the decision of the Special Court.

Pragya Thakur, who was among the accused, had claimed that she was forced to take the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on behalf of the investigating agencies. Sadhvi Pragya said in a statement, yes, I was forced. I did not come under pressure and I did not name anyone, no one was falsely implicated. Therefore, I was very tortured. Manoj Jarange targeted Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Manoj Jarage, who is fasting for reservation amid hearing in the High Court, said that he is ready to negotiate with the government but till his demands are met, he will not leave Mumbai. Jarage started a fast on Friday (August 29) at Azad Maidan in Mumbai to demand Maratha reservation. He said that the protesters have not violated any law. No one can stop the Maratha community from entering the state capital.

Manoj Jarange alleged that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is giving false information to the Bombay High Court and he will have its “paying” price. Jarange claimed, “You will not know whether he is Mumbaikar or Maratha.” Whatever will happen next Monday will be due to Fadnavis’s mistake.

He said that he will ensure that the government accepts their reservation demand and issue a government order by recognizing the Marathas as a Kunbi (an agrarian -oriented caste included in the Other Backward Classes). With this, they will be able to become eligible for reservation in government jobs and education.

The Bombay High Court in Maharashtra has clarified that Manoj Jarage Patil cannot be allowed to agitate in Mumbai without prior permission in view of maintaining law and order in the city during Ganeshotsav. The court said that democracy and disagreement are connected, but the movement can only be done at the designated site.

The High Court also said that the state government can decide to give Jarage Patil an alternative place in Kharghar area of ​​Navi Mumbai to ensure that Mumbai’s routine is not interrupted. The court also clarified that it can be demonstrated peacefully only after receiving reflection for the movement.

The High Court has given exemption to the agitators that they can apply for permission from the administration. After this, the state government has the right to take a decision according to the sections of the law. The court clearly stated that no public place can be surrounded indefinitely.

‘Movement can affect law and order’

The Bombay High Court also mentioned during the hearing that during the days of Ganeshotsav, the Mumbai Police is completely busy in maintaining law and order. At such a time, agitation or dharna demonstration can affect the peace and system of the city. The hearing was held on a PIL filed by Amy Foundation, in which Jarang Patil’s proposed agitation was opposed.

The case came before the bench of Bombay High Court Chief Justice Alok Aradh and Justice Sandeep Maran. The court clarified during the hearing that the right to agitation is part of the democratic system, but this right cannot be above public life and law and order.
