Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty starrer film ‘Border 2’ is one of the much awaited and first big release films of the year 2026. Before the film hits the theatres, the makers have released a patriotic teaser of ‘Border 2’ on the occasion of Vijay Diwas on 16th December.

By releasing the teaser of ‘Border 2’ on the occasion of this historic day commemorating India’s victory in the 1971 war, the makers have paid a nationwide tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. Earlier, while sharing the new poster of Border 2 on his Instagram profile, Varun Dhawan wrote, ‘The excitement of Vijay Diwas, memories of the victory of 1971, and the grandest teaser launch of the year – together! The teaser of Border 2 will release on 16th December at 1:30 pm IST. Will be released in theaters on 23 January 2026.

Fwice Opposed Diljit’s Casting in Border 2: The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has objected to the casting of Diljit Dosanjh in Border 2. The Federation says that Diljit’s work with Pakistani actress is against the sentiments of the nation. Along with this, the Federation appealed to the filmmakers to think about their casting again.
