After getting approval from the cabinet of the state government, the process of recruitment to the posts of librarian has now reached the final stage. The Education Department has asked the Finance Department to complete the process of salary determination of these posts soon. It is believed that as soon as this work is completed, the recruitment notification will be issued in December 2025.

It is said that there is a possibility of recruitment on more than 4000 posts in the state, which will provide employment opportunity to thousands of youth. The door of librarian recruitment is opening again after 14 years

The biggest thing is that the recruitment of librarian in Bihar was stopped for the last 14 years. The last appointment to this post was made in 2011-12. Since then the posts became vacant continuously, but recruitment was not done. Because of this, many schools and colleges had libraries, but did not have permanent staff to run them.

Now the Education Department has made it clear that this time there will be a large number of recruitments and efforts will be made to fill most of the vacant posts, so that students can get better facilities in the library.

To join this recruitment, the candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Library Science with 45% marks. 5% relaxation will be given to reserved category, disabled and women candidates. The minimum age for librarian recruitment has been kept at 21 years. The most important thing is that according to the new rules, a relaxation of 10 years will be given in the maximum age limit. BPSC Jobs 2025: If you are looking for a government job and you have a post graduation degree in statistics, mathematics or economics, then you have a great news. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recruited the posts of District Statistical Officer/Assistant Director. Under this recruitment, appointments will be made for a total of 47 posts.

These rules have to be followed

According to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar and General Administration, it will be mandatory to get 40 percent to the general class candidates appearing in the written examination, 36.5 percent for backward class candidates, 34 percent to extremely backward class candidates and 32 percent minimum arrows for SC/ST, women and disabled candidates.
