Bihar Public Service Commission has recruited 590 posts of Principal and Associate Professor in Engineering and Polytechnic colleges, so those who are interested candidates can apply online from 18 August to 12 September 2025. According to the notification, PhD and teaching/research experience is necessary. You can apply on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Under this recruitment, a total of 564 posts of Principal and Associate Professor will be recruited in the state. Of these, 539 posts are reserved for Associate Professor and 25 posts are reserved for principal. Let’s know who can apply for these posts.

Essential educational qualification

The candidate should have a PhD in the concerned subject and a minimum of 8 -year teaching or research experience is required, as well as special importance in the selection process to subject experts, research work and educational achievements. For the post of Principal, the candidate should have PhD and at least 15 years of experience in the concerned engineering branch, which may be in teaching, research or industry. This experience will be helpful in implementing the educational, administrative and development works of the institute effectively.

Age limit
The minimum age of the applicant should be 31 years. The maximum age limit is fixed at 65 years according to the post. The maximum age will be given to the reserved category candidates under the government rules. The calculation of the age will be according to the date specified in the advertisement.

BPSC Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification of Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025. Under this recruitment process, qualified teachers will be appointed for a total of 7279 posts. Interested candidates will be able to apply online from 2 July 2025. The last date for application has been fixed on 28 July 2025.

BPSC Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025: Which posts will be appointed?

In this recruitment campaign of BPSC, primary and upper primary level teachers will be appointed. Of these, 5534 posts (primary levels) are prescribed for classes 1 to 5. While 1745 posts (upper primary levels) have been prescribed from class 6 to 8.

BPSC Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025: How much will the application fee have to be paid?

Candidates applying will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for general, unreserved, EWS and other category candidates is Rs 750. While SC/ST, fee for women candidates of all classes and disabled (more than 40% disability) candidates has been fixed at Rs 200. Candidates who have not given Aadhaar as an identity card, will also have to pay an additional biometric fees of Rs 200.
