India is continuously moving towards strengthening its air defence. The Russian Pantsir missile system is considered important for the security of the S-400. Experts say that India should purchase the Pantsir-S1M system as soon as possible, so that it can protect itself from attacks by drones and cruise missiles.

Pakistan misled by S-400 dummy in Operation Sindoor

During Operation Sindoor between India and Pakistan in May 2025, Pakistan attacked S-400 launchers at Adampur airbase in Punjab. But there was no damage, because the Indian Air Force had shifted the original S-400 batteries to another place. The parts that were damaged in the attack were dummies.

Retired IAF pilot and military analyst Vijender K Thakur wrote in an op-ed published on 29 November 2025 that Pakistan did not have up-to-date intelligence on the exact location of the S-400. But in future such help can be received from China or America, hence the security of S-400 is necessary.

What is Pantsir System and why is it important?

According to the Eurasian Times, the Pantsir-S1M is Russia’s short-range air defense system, which protects long-range systems like the S-400. It protects against aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, drones and precision guided munitions. his-

Range: 20-30 kilometers

Height: up to 18 kilometers

New Missiles: Heavy warhead (25 kg), TKB-1055 ‘Gwozd’ missile is fitted for mini drone. 12 missiles and two 30mm guns (each gun can fire 40 rounds per second).

Upgraded Radar: Detects targets like GMLRS from double the distance. Everything including mobile and three crew members on one vehicle.

In the Ukraine war, despite the protection of Pantsir, the Russian S-400 was damaged by Ukraine’s Storm Shadow cruise missile and low-flying drone. With the help of NATO intelligence, the drones dodge Pantsir and attack the S-400.

What is the current status of the Pantsir deal between India and Russia?

This deal is to increase self-reliance under Make in India. India has been trying to acquire Pantsir for a long time…

August 2020: Russian media Izvestia reported that many countries, including India, showed interest in the Pantsir-S1M.

April 2024: Russia had announced to double pantsir production for its forces.

November 2024: India and Russia had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development and production of customized variants of Pantsir.

Earlier reports (2023-2024): Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Russia’s Rosoboronexport signed an agreement on manufacturing, technology transfer and joint development at the IRIGC meeting in Goa.

What is the opinion of experts on this deal?

Vijender Thakur says that India had purchased five regiments of S-400 in 2018, but without Pantsir this decision was wrong. This happened due to lack of budget, but now Pantsir should be achieved rapidly. The combination of S-400 and Pantsir is most effective against air threats coming from the border.

India currently has three regiments of S-400, two more are yet to arrive. Pantsir is necessary before the next conflict, so that the S-400 remains safe from low-altitude drone and missile attacks. This step will make India’s air defense layered and stronger.

China is going to organize a military parade on 3 September, which is going to attend many big leaders of the world. According to the news of Reuters, Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean President Kim Jong Un will also reach Beijing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also going to China. Just before this, China’s Intercontinental ballistic missile DF-41 is discussed. It will be displayed in the military parade.

China will also demonstrate its weapons in the military parade. According to the information, this will be China’s largest military performance after 2019. The process of delivering weapons to the parade site has started. Talking about DF-41, it is an intercontinental ballistic missile, which is being compared to BrahMos. BrahMos is a supersonic missile.

It is capable of directly targeting any big country in the world. If you talk about its range, then it can target from 12,000 to 15,000 kilos. China claims that it is one of the best missiles in the world.

India has surprised the world by achieving a major achievement in the field of defense technology. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully tested the ‘Expected Trajectory Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile (ET-LDHCM)’. This missile can fly eight times faster than the speed of sound i.e. Mac 8 speed and target enemy’s bases up to 1,500 km away.

This missile built under ‘Project Vishnu’

The existing Indian missiles like BrahMos, Agni and Akash are more advanced and powerful than the system. It is equipped with scumjet engine technology, which uses oxygen of the atmosphere without a traditional compressor. Its speed is three times more than BrahMos (Mac 3). It can withstand temperatures ranging from 2,000 ° C and is capable of carrying traditional and nuclear weapons from 1,000 to 2,000 kg.

What is the specialty of ET-LDHCM?

The ET-LDHCM can be launched from the ground, air and sea, all three. It has the ability to avoid radar and change the goal and change direction, which also makes it a challenge for modern defense shields like S-500 and Iron Dome.

With the testing of this missile, India has now joined the queue of countries like America, Russia and China, which have indigenous hypersonic missile technology. It takes India’s strategic strength to new heights and is considered to be important in response to China’s growing influence in the Indo-Pacific sector.

India is giving new height to its defense preparations

India has done this test at a time when geopolitical tension is at its peak around the world. On the one hand, there is a conflict between Israel-Iran and the Russia-Ukraine war, on the other hand, there is a constant tension in India-Pakistan relations. In view of these situations, India is giving new height to its defense preparations. Especially in view of the increasing dominance of China in the growing military proximity between Turkey and Pakistan and in the Indo-Pacific sector, India has laid special emphasis on the development of deadly weapons of the new generation along with upgrading missiles like BrahMos, Agni-5 and Akash.

After the recent military conflicts of India-Pakistan, when Pakistan’s air defense network was badly demolished, China has once again come forward to help. According to the Open-SOS Intelligence Network (OSNIT) report, China has sent a new consignment of its medium-range surface to the air defense system to Pakistan.

China’s Y-20 Military Transport Aircraft has flew to Pakistan at least three times in recent weeks. These aircraft have delivered the HQ-16 missile system and a consignment of equipment associated with it. The Y-20 is a heavy lift military jet capable of carrying military materials up to 66 tonnes.

Why the new consignment of HQ-16 was needed?

During the Operation Sindoor run by India between 7 and 10 May, Pakistan’s major airbase such as Noor Khan, Rahim Yar Khan, Sakkur and Bholari were targeted. The Indian Air Force attacked with BrahMos and Scalp cruise missiles and destroyed Pakistan’s HQ-16 and HQ-9P air defense system and China-made YLC-8E radar.

Can HQ-16 stop BrahMos?

actually no. HQ-16 has a firepower of about 40 km and is usually designed to prevent drones, fighter jets and slow missiles. But the BrahMos missile, whose speed is Mach 2.8–3.0 (three times at the speed of voice) and it is almost impossible for the intercepting HQ-16. This is the reason that HQ-16 proved to be ineffective during Operation Sindoor.

What is the meaning of a new consignment given by Pakistan?

Pakistan’s current air defense capacity is considered to be almost zero. India had also destroyed two of its three surveillance aircraft. In such a situation, sending new consignments by China is to support Pakistan’s military morale, but this will not change a strategic edge.

OSNIT warning

The OSNIT report states that India should keep an eye on China-Pak alliance. Especially in cases of air defense, missile supply and technical military cooperation, the help given by China to Pakistan can remain a strategic challenge for India.

During Operation Sindoor, the Russian Air Defense System S-400 and Indian BrahMos missiles caused severe havoc in Pakistan. Since then, he is constantly in awe, because India was killed in the air by India. In such a situation, he is now looking towards Germany to strengthen his air defense.

According to information received from sources, Pakistan is planning to buy IRIS-T SLM air defense system from Germany so that it can save its country from India’s BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. Chinese air defense systems HQ-9 and HQ-16 failed to face Indian missiles during the Indo-Pak military conflict.

German air defense system proved to be a boon for Ukraine

German IRIS-T SLM has proved to be very effective in protecting Ukraine from Russia. According to reports, the German defense system has killed more than 60 targets since last year.

What is IRIS-T SLM Air Defense System?

The German air defense system has developed by Hehal Defense, it is modular and compact. The price of each unit of it is said to be around $ 200. Deehl Defense IRIS-T SLM developer Thiysenkrop is also working on Marin Systems as well as 75i submarine programs of India.

Pakistan, passing through Kangali, has increased its defense budget by 18 percent, while 1000 billion Pakistani rupees have canceled domestic development projects. Apart from this, Pakistan has taken loans of $ 1-8 billion from IMF and ADB only last month. Pakistan also wants to buy this system because its Chinese defense system proved to be a failure in front of Indian missiles.

India Developing Brahmos 2: After the success of the BrahMos missile that shattered the chest of Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, India is now preparing to create a more deadly missile. After a stir in the enemy country Pakistan, India is now ready to rapidly pursue the development of the next generation hypersonic cruise missile BrahMos-2.

This decision of India is being seen as a big jump in the missile program. This missile will be more dangerous and destructive than before. The process of developing BrahMos-2 will accelerate after DRDO achieves progress in indigenous scumjet engine technology. This missile has been designed to reach Mac 6 to Mac 8. It will be about 6 to 8 times faster than the speed of the sound, which will have a firepower of 1500 km. can happen till.

India and Russia will make BrahMos-2 together

According to defense sources, there is going to be a re-discussion between India and Russia to develop BrahMos-2 jointly. The hypersonic cruise missile will be inspired by Russia’s 3 M22 Zircon missile, which is a scramjet missile and is also equipped with nuclear capacity. It has already been included in the Russian Navy and is capable of reaching the speed of Mac 9.

The announcement was made in 2008 but many hurdles came

The development of this program was announced in 2008 but many types of bottlenecks came to light, including restrictions under the Missile Technology Control System (MTCR). It initially gave Russia 300 km. Stopped sharing technology with more range than. After this, when India officially joined MTCR in 2016, this blockage decreased.

BrahMos missile specialty

The current BrahMos missile is the world’s fastest operational supersonic cruise missile, which flies 3.5 Mac speed. Its firepower is 290 to 800 km. Is between It is included in the fleet of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. This missile can kill with land, water and air as well as submarines. It caused havoc in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Based on fire and forgate technology, this missile played an important role in Operation Sindoor. Its target was so accurate that all the targets were achieved.

Future missile BrahMos-2

The speed of BrahMos-2 can be between Mac 6 to Mac 8, while its firepower can be 1500 km. It will continuously work at hypersonic speed and destroy the target. Its design is based on the Russian 3M22 zircon, which runs at the speed of Mac 9. BrahMos-2 will have a scumjet engine which is much more advance than the current BrahMos Ramjet system. The DRDO successfully tested the Scramjet Combuster in April 2025 for more than 1,000 seconds.

India Pakistan News: Like Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army caused such havoc in Pakistan, which will be remembered for centuries of neighboring countries. At first, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said to please his people, that his army responded to India, but now he himself admitted that he had suffered a lot from Operation Sindoor.

Shahbaz Sharif has once again publicly acknowledged that other missiles, including India’s supersonic BrahMos, attacked many internal areas of Pakistan including Rawalpindi Airbase. At the tripartite summit in Lachin, Azerbaijan, Shahbaz Sharif said that before Pakistan could think of doing something, the Indian Army has already targeted the target in Pakistan.

At Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan conference, he said, “We decided to attack the Indian Army on the night of 9-10 May, but before that, India’s BrahMos missiles attacked Pakistani military bases.

This is not the first time that Shahbaz Sharif has confirmed that Pakistan has suffered heavy losses due to operation sindoor. Earlier, he had admitted a ceremony that Indian missiles had attacked Nur Khan Airbase and other places in Rawalpindi. After the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, India destroyed the terrorist bases built in PoK and other areas of Pakistan, killing more than 100 militants.

After this, Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to target India’s military bases. The Indian air defense system destroyed the Pakistani missile and drone in the air. In response to which India demolished the 11 airbase of Pakistan. Fearing the bravery of the Indian Army, Pakistan called the Indian DGMO and started pleading for the ceasefire. After this, ceasefire is applicable between the two countries.

Pakistani spy: Yutubar Jyoti Malhotra of Haryana was arrested for spying for Pakistan. The arrest of Jyoti Malhotra has once again exposed the planning of the Pakistani intelligence agency (ISI) to trap in the trap of love and lies. Travel Vlogger Jyoti is not the first Indian to get caught in ISI’s honeytrap. Even before that, many men and women have been caught in the trap of ISI espionage.

Sejal Kapoor in the discussion amid revelations on Jyoti Malhotra

One such name is from Sejal Kapoor who was implicated in the Indian Defense Officers in HoneyTrap. According to the Times of India report, these spies of Pakistan used to make fake IDs on Facebook with Indian names like Sejal Kapoor, Neha Sharma, Pooja Ranjan, Anamika Sharma and Aditi Aggarwal on Facebook and pretended to Indian officials.

98 officers were implicated in Honeytrap

After this, between 2015 and 2018, the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, paramilitary forces and state police personnel in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh hacked the computer system of more than 98 officers of various departments.

According to Sejal Kapoor’s Facebook profile, she used to work in Hedge Aviation in UK. She used to target people by showing her videos and photos with the help of software malware released from the third-party server hosted in the West Asian country. She was also involved in leaking data of BrahMos missile in 2018.

How did Sejal Kapoor expose?

Uttar Pradesh’s Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Military Intelligence Department (MI) came to know about it when BrahMos missile projects engineer Nishant Aggarwal was arrested. He implicated Nishant Aggarwal in HoneyTrap. UP Police and MI discovered more than 60 chats of this female detective. The detective application used by Sejal used to work on stealth mode. It had self -ware detection technology, so that the anti-mailware program installed in the computer could not be identity.

An engineer associated with the missile project of BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited in Nagpur was arrested in 2018 under the joint operation of UP ATS, his Maharashtra counterpart and army intelligence department. That engineer informed Pakistan’s ISI about this project.

Nishant used to do BrahMos aerospace unit

The Nishant Aggarwal who was arrested by UP ATS was a senior engineer in the BrahMos Aerospace Unit. He was the head of Hydrolix-Numetics and Warhead Integration Wing of the Production Department of BrahMos. According to the report, he was also overseeing new projects on BrahMos’ sites in Nagpur and Pilani. UP ATS officials said that they had won the Youth Scientist Award for 2017-18.

UP ATS investigating officer Pankaj Awasthi said in his statement during Aggarwal’s trial that Sejal introduced himself to Nishant Aggarwal as a senior officer of Hayes Aviation (who recruits in the company). According to UP ATS, Sejal told the former other Indian Air Force employee that he is a student of Manchester.

Facebook account was active from Pakistan

Police said that Nishant Aggarwal was friends of two other people Neha Sharma and Pooja Ranjan on Facebook, whose account was also active from Pakistan. Aggarwal also talked to Sejal on Linked-in, where Sejal promised to give him work. The UP ATS told the court that on Sejal’s instructions, Nishant Aggarwal clicked on three links and installed three apps Quvister, Chat to Higher and X-Trust on his private laptop.

Weapons used in operation sindoor: India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on 7 May, in which the Indian Army completely destroyed the 9 terrorist bases present in PoK. The operation was the response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, in which 26 tourists were shot and killed. Between 7 and 11 May, Pakistan carried out attacks on India with drones and missiles, after which India retaliated and destroyed 11 major airbase of Pakistan.

An interesting fact about the operation operation is that it used technology and weapons manufactured in India. India used a variety of weapons from the Akash Missile System to the D4 Anti-Dron system developed by the Akash Missile System to the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

India used the D4 anti-drain system to avoid the attack of drones and missiles. It is a indigenously developed drone detection and neutralization system, which is used to destroy drones and missiles.

BrahMos used in Operation Sindoor

On the morning of May 10, India fired several BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles on Pakistan’s major airbases. It proved to be helpful in destroying many locations including Pakistani runways, bunkers and hangers. This malignant missile can be launched by aerial platforms such as autonomous mobile launchers, ships, submarines and even Sukhoi-30 MKI located on the ground. It is designed to work day and night in all kinds of conditions in every season.

The BrahMos Aerospace, the company that makes BrahMos, claims that the range of BrahMos is 290 km while the operation range is considered more. Its speed is 2.8 Mac, that is, two and a half times higher speed than the speed of voice. However, India has also prepared a missile of BrahMos, an extended range i.e. 450-500 km.

It is believed that no radar and weapon, missile system of the world can intercepted it, that is, once BrahMos is stained, no one can stop it like Brahmastra and falls on its goal and falls on the target.

Sukhoi-30 MKI played an important role

HAL has made Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft of the Indian Air Force in India. These fighter jet operations were very important in vermilion. These jets can take a BrahMos missile and fly for about 11 hours by filling fuel in the air. By adding BrahMos missile to Sukhoi, India’s strength to attack has increased manifold.

Barak-8 missile was also used

The Barak-8 missile has been built by India’s DRDO and a Israeli company. This missile can also prevent enemy aircraft, drones, missiles and large attacks. Its high speed, ability to respond quickly and special radar systems make it an important part of India’s air security.

IACCS system proved to be helpful

The IACCS system proved to be very helpful in India’s air security. This system has been created by Indian Air Force and Bharat Electronics Limited. It works from a secret place under the ground and shows the full picture of what is happening in the sky by adding radar, sensor, information from the aircraft and intelligence. With this, the enemy attacks can be identified quickly and responded immediately. With the help of this, Pakistan’s missiles and drone attacks were stopped in time and there was no loss.

Akashtir given a befitting reply

Akashtir is a medium range missile that attacks from the ground to the air. It has been made by India itself and now it is with both the Indian Army and the Air Force. During Operation Sindoor, Akash-NG, the new version of Akashtir, helped to prevent many drones and missile attacks. This missice fly very fast and can kill the target ranging from 30 meters to 20 kilometers.

It has a strong explosion warhead and smart sensors. Radar, launcher and control system- everything is made in India itself. This system has now become an important part of India’s air security.

‘I got a call from Asim Munir at 2.30 pm …’, Shahbaz Sharif himself told where the loss was in Operation Sindoor
