After months of conflict between America and Iran, a peace agreement has now been reached. Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian have finally formally signed the MOU. Even though this news may be a relief to the world, after this deal there has been a fresh stir in Israel.

Instead of decreasing, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s problems are increasing due to the US-Iran peace deal. The Israeli PM has personally suffered the most loss from this deal. After the complete details of this deal came out, a survey organization in Israel conducted a survey to know the views of the public.

The name of the organization conducting the survey is Kan, which is also Israel’s public broadcaster. A new survey has shown that the Israeli people have very little support for the agreement between America and Iran. Of the 555 people surveyed on Tuesday (June 16), 18 percent said they support the agreement, while 55 percent said they oppose it.

70 percent people are still afraid of Iran
The survey also revealed that despite the recent attacks by America and Israel on Iran’s military infrastructure, 70 percent of the people still feel threatened by Iran. On the contrary, 40 percent people said that even after the signing of the agreement, President Donald Trump will be considered a very good friend of Israel. 32 percent people believed that now that the US-Iran peace agreement has been signed, US President Trump’s attitude towards Israel will change. In this survey, 27 percent people appeared neutral or had no opinion on this.

The purpose of this agreement between America and Iran is to reduce regional tension, control fears regarding the nuclear program and avoid the possibility of a widespread war in West Asia.
