These days, there is a lot of uproar regarding the names and stories of films. Earlier, protests were seen regarding Netflix’s film ‘Ghooskhor Pandat’. Now in this series, a new film ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story’ has come into controversy. The matter has come to light from Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, where people of Yadav community protested strongly against the film.

Movie posters burnt on the streets

On Wednesday, the anger of the people of Yadav community was visible on the streets in Sambhal. The protesters registered their protest by burning posters of the film and trampling them with their feet. Also demanded a ban on the release of the film.

People allege that the name of the film and its story present their society in a wrong way, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Yadav community is being targeted through the film

The protesters say that the story and title of the film have been prepared to target the Yadav community. Due to this, a wrong image of the society is being created. Due to this resentment, people expressed their anger by burning posters publicly.

Cinema hall operators were warned that if the film was screened, the protests would intensify. At some places, a memorandum has been submitted to the administration demanding a ban on the release of the film.

The film ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story’ has been directed by Ankit Bhadana. This is a romantic thriller story. In this, actresses Pragati Tiwari and Vishal Mohan are in lead roles. Pragati plays the character of ‘Simple Yadav’, who is a quiet, homely girl. The love story of her and a young man named Wasim Akhtar is shown in the film.

This film is going to be released on 27 February 2026.
