There is big news for the youth who dream of serving the country by getting a job in the Border Security Force (BSF). The recruitment campaign is going on for the posts of Head Constable Radio Operator and Head Constable Radio Mechanic in BSF. Eligible candidates can apply online for this recruitment till 23 September 2025. After this, the application window will be closed. To join this recruitment, the candidate must have 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from the recognized board/institute, and should have at least 60% marks. Apart from this, if the candidates also keep 2 -year ITI certificate in the relevant trade after 10th, then they can apply.

According to the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should not be 18 years and according to the maximum age group 25 years for general category, 28 years for OBC and SC/ST should not be more than 30 years. The reserved class will get age relaxation according to government rules. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated on 23 September 2025.

Application fee will have to be paid so much

Candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to submit the application fee of Rs 100 + 59 rupees CSC and tax. At the same time, the application for SC, ST and women candidates has been kept free. Candidates can take help of the official site for more details.

This recruitment campaign will recruit to a total of 1121 posts. To join this recruitment, candidates have to complete some minimum educational qualifications. The candidate has passed 12th grade with at least 60 percent marks with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. Then the candidate has obtained a two -year ITI certificate in the relevant trade after matriculation.

What is age limit?

Age limit has also been fixed for BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025. Candidates of the general category should be up to 25 years old. The maximum age for the OBC category is 28 years. The maximum age limit for SC and ST category candidates is 30 years. Reserved classes will be given exemption in the upper age limit as per rules.
